We recently popped in for lunch on the way to Bourton on the water and could not have wished for better food! We sat in the main restaurant whereas most other people chose to sit in the bar but because there were 7 of us there was more space in the restaurant. There was lots of choice on the menu,...

Arrived late on and was told that not much left on the menu To be fair to them.. But what was dished up were the slops of food left over and it was worse than bad... And really if they only had that left they should not have served it but they did and charged full for it.. Not good

We were staying at a local hotel but not impressed with evening meal on first night, so found this place for second night and had a great meal. Plenty of good quality food and waitress very pleasant, happy and provided great service, with a smile! Would highly recommend.

We stayed for two nights recently and really enjoyed our stay. Good location as only 10 minute walk to centre of Bourton. Extremely well presented accommodation, Very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Good choice for breakfast. The pub is tastefully decorated with a comfortable bar and restaurant area. Would willingly stay here again.

Stayed for the weekend in this lovely, welcoming B&B. Great location within easy walking distance of both Boughton on the Water town centre and Lower Slaughter via a very picturesque country path. We had a very warm welcome from the staff who were very attentive and couldn't be any more helpful. Lovely clean, spacious modern rooms with all the expected...

Called in on the off chance for Sunday lunch with our grand children. It was quite empty which was a surprise for Sunday as this area is very popular with visitors. There was a large secure garden which was great for the kids and the pub is attractively furnished inside. Not sure whether this is a job in progress as...

Called in as we were passing for dinner on a Friday evening . Not too busy , sat in the bar, ambiance is good for a country pub. Both fish dishes were off, not a good start. Ordered 2 burgers at the bar. Staff seemed under pressure even though the place was half empty . If you wanted a drink...

A short walk to Bourton-on-the-Water, nice clean, spacious, comfy room (best night sleep I've had in a long time!). Very hospitable staff. Breakfast really good (which was included in the price) and we ate in for our evening meal which was excellent. Can't fault and fully recommend.

On main A429, not much atmosphere, waitress friendly and polite. No one else in pub or dining area, sounded some alarm bells!! Average food, description didn't fit the actual meal, overall cost expensive for what we got, but biggest gripe was the charge for tap water!! (Illegal)

Extremely pleasant staff who made the stay very good indeed. The Coach and Horses is only a short walk from Bourton on the Water and is excellently positioned to visit all areas of the Cotswolds. The rooms are in a very well converted barn, they are reasonably sized, well equipped, clean and well presented. Breakfasts set one up for the...
