No separate reviews set up for the Tea Room, so I am writing the review here. Six of us stopped in for lunch, because it looked charming from the outside. The charm only goes so far when you're hungry. We had to squeeze around a table not meant for six and we really didn't feel welcome. Silverware was slow to...

We stayed two nights at this charming, family-run Tea House & Inn which is well-located in the quaint town of Bibury in the Cotswolds. Literally a stone’s throw from Arlington Row, the famous wool-weaver’s cottages, it is also within easy walking distance of the small town, and also convenient for visiting other Cotswold towns, such as Bourton on the Water,...

My family had lunch at the William Morris during the summer break. The service was very poor, with more attention paid to answering phone calls than serving customers. Plates were not cleared and ordering was a struggle - we gave up on cake. Once food and drinks arrived the quality was satisfactory, however prices were expensive for what was received....

We arrived at The William Morris to a warm welcome from Jacqueline and Ian, we sat and were treated to tea and cake which was a pleasant start to our stay. The bedroom was beautiful, decorated in William Morris wall paper and sympathetically furnished for the period, the bathroom was large and the whole room was completely spotless. The view...

Don't be fooled by the pleasant staff. The scones are stale and dry. Manager admitted they were not baked that day. They crumbled to pieces just like frozen scones always do. These people should be ashamed. If you try to get an apology all the manager does is try to charge you full price . Avoid at all costs. Guess...

A pleasant dog friendly tea rooms. We called in today after having a walk around Bibury. A fire was on the go which helped create a nice atmosphere. Staff/owners were friendly and welcoming. Wife had the home made leek & potato soup which she enjoyed. It came with brown seeded bread/butter. She had an apple juice to drink. I had...

I could not find a listing for the William Morris Tea Rooms so I have posted here. We visited Bibury in winter so had it all pretty much to ourselves. No doubt very different in Summer!! The village is absolutely beautiful and the epitome of a Cotswold village - William Morris described it as "the most beautiful village in England".-...

It's ages since we've been to Bibury and decided to go for afternoon tea in the tearoom attached to the William Morris B&B. There was a very homely, welcoming and unobtrusive atmosphere and it was nice to see a real fire burning. There was a good selection of tea, coffee, snacks and cakes which were all very good value. It's...

Slightly odd atmosphere and pretty average food. Coffee is just from a filter jug, cakes and scones were ok. Not awful, but there are better places, especially if you drive a few miles down the road to Bourton or Stowe.

My friend and I decided to spend the day in Bibury and, after some hours of amazing scenery and breathtaking views, we decided to stop to have a late lunch at The William Morris. We ordered a salmon toastie and a trout toastie and could not be more disappointed with the food - the toastie was a dry brown bread...
