Having been to the Swan multiple times for evening drinks - a close friend and I decided to have a meal in the bar one evening as an early birthday treat! It took a little while to arrive but when it did - it looked beautifully presented. It has to have been one of the best steaks I have ever eaten!...

I was treated to one night with my partner and best friend and her husband as part of my 60th birthday celebrations had no idea where we were going. Turned up to this idyllic village setting with the river running through a trout farm and a gorgeous Hotel called The Swan Inn we were treated to a superior room it...

We arrived at 1pm and were treated to very attentive staff. Even though the room was not ready, the receptionist tried to hurry things along. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were OK and on-par with a 2.5 - 3 star hotel. Some way above a premier lodge but not quite boutique luxury. Does the job, though. The sister...

I stayed for our 30th Wedding anniversary and it was such a beautiful place. Excellent views from our room overlooking the Trout farm and the river. Could just see the Arlington cottages too! Staff very friendly and professional, room was cosy and well supplied with refreshments and luxury toiletries. Delicious meal in the Brasserie too. Would definitely go back. Oh...

Stopped over for lunch during our day tour of Cotswold. Beautiful surrounding landscape & a very pleasant hotel covered in lovely creepers. Had the trout with cauliflower, broccoli and whole potatoes. The fish was way over cooked and left an unpleasant course texture & bland taste. Overall a very beautiful vintage hotel but the F&B section needs to be improved.

The Swan is a typical old Cotswold Hotel. We stayed in a "Garden Suite" which consists of ground floor Living Room with freeview TV, settee coffee table.. Upstairs large bedroom with TV & on suite. On suite has shower cubicle & bath. Good pressure to shower & plenty of hot water. Rooms clean & tidy. The bar & Brasserie border...

We decided to eat here as a change from the Catherine Wheel. We opted to eat in the bar as the menu is more extensive. We started with the chilli squid, but regretted it. It was rubbery (overcooked), and the next day we both had BAD tummies. This was the only food we shared in common, and I wondered if...

We visited the Swan in January for our anniversary and it was fantastic! It really is a beautiful setting and the hotels furniture and decor suited the picturesque village. We spent quite a bit of time in the snug where there was always a roaring fire and plenty of newspapers and magazines to read and it was a lovely place...

Beautiful Old Cotswold hotel. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. It was our Wedding Anniversary and we were given a card on entering the Restaurant and also had Happy Anniversary piped onto our dessert plates. Had a problem with our TV which was sorted immediately. Room very comfortable. We loved it.
