We booked to stay in Rye enroute back to Folkestone for the Channel train the next day. We were able to park our car for free next to the hotel and checked into our room. The receptionist was friendly and efficient and we were very happy. We were able to have a beer in the garden by the river which...

Recently spent two nights here in two rooms with friends from the USA .With the exception of the dining area the hotel is very tired and in great need of refurbishment. Our room was old and dated and the bathroom likewise. The carpets in the corridors and on the stairs are dreadful. With the exception of two members, the staff...

What makes this hotel exceptional however are the staff from reception through to the bar and restaurant. They are friendly and accommodating even to the extent that the...

We were made very welcome from the start and ALL the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Maybe the decor in the room was a bit dated but it was spotlessly clean and tidy and had everything we...

This is well placed for town but insist on a river view the road & carpark can get very noisy. There are some good places to eat in town for both breakfast and dinner. It is tatty in the middle and it is now beginning to show on the outside. For the money it does not offer good value but...

We booked at short notice - on a busy weekend when there were seemed to be few rooms available anywhere. Didn't regret it at all. Easy to find, friendly welcome and a comfortable room. The River Haven Hotel is a few hundred yards away from the centre of Rye, but it didn't take many minutes to walk there. Rye is...

Good location, with nice views, bar has outside seating by the water. Good food served in the restaurant area or a short walk into the local town for a selection of eateries. Would definitely stay again.

As a group of 4 friends we chose this hotel as it fitted in our budget. Theres plenty of parking outside and the hotel is easy to find. It's set on the side of the river a short walk from the town. The hotel is comfortable and clean. Might need a bit of updating but everything works just fine. I...
