This is a lovely comfortable little hotel where old fashioned courtesy and service prevail. We had one of the classic rooms which was very smart, clean and comfortable with a good sized en suite bathroom. There was a good choice of breakfast, and dinner in the Salts restaurant was of a high standard. I loved having the pool available and...

Really like this hotel in the middle of Rye. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated. Had a very good nights sleep. And the food was really good. Gorgeous dishes very impressed. The staff where lovely too. Esp the receptionist who was extremely helpful. The spa was very compact. The hot tub was cold sadly and the pool small but nice. The...

A lovely hotel, with parking! Yes free parking. The room was on first floor overlooking the salt marshes and beyond, we even had a tiny balcony which we used cause it was so warm. The pool was okay but really only for two people who knew each other, the jacuzzi was powerful and great fun but beware entering too early...

We stayed for 2 nights and found it ideal . Clean, friendly and swimming pool. Good food and ideal place to visit the town. Free parking in their private car park was a bonus. Will definitely visit again.

Stayed here for two nights in a standard room. Room was fine but " En-suite" was too small. The shower was a 75cm quadrant right beside W.C. and small cloakroom basin in front. Shaving meant having to partly stand in shower tray, made worse by the "levered taps" not allowing one to get face near bowl. Food fantastic. Service fantastic....

Ther were plus points and minus points, the plus points was the location, cleanisness and breakfast was fine. In addition the hotel has its own car park which is rare in Rye. The minus points were that the standard room had a sloping floor and the bed was not positioned perpendicular to the sloping floor and therefore I had an...

We enjoyed our 2-night stay at the Rye Lodge Hotel; it was very clean, the location was great and front of house very polite and welcoming - providing a small map of the town. We did not use the spa as forgot swimwear and did not visit the restaurant as preferred to go out. Our only qualm was the temperature...

We are regular visitors to Rye and Rye Lodge offers friendly staff, comfortable rooms, the major bonus of a car park and even a small but splendid swimming pool. I have no hesitation in recommending it - there is no better location; great views and right in the middle of the ancient town..

We booked a deluxe room and were impressed with the size of it and it was very well furnished with bathrobes, slippers and complimentary toiletries. Also, the hospitality tray was one of the most well-stocked that we've ever seen and came with a high quality coffee-maker as well as a kettle. On one of the afternoons the sun eventually appeared...
