Stayed in The Studio - Well presented room, continental breakfast cereal and toast in room. Tea and coffee makings too - plenty of fresh milk. Small en-suite, but all you need - macinator can be quite noisy and goes off randomly during the night. Could do with a mirror the main room. We had a comfortable stay and would consider...

Thanks for the feedback Simon, I will check out the macerator, it sometimes does that if a tap is dripping slightly.

The garden studio where we stayed (there is also another, smaller studio) is a self-contained self-catering chalet/ studio flat. It is very clean, well-equipped, nicely decorated and and pleasantly furnished and consists of a large bedroom with kitchenette and eating are, plus a bathroom with shower. There are terraces to either side with a good view of the hills. This...

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. The site is a challenge for access, we have just installed a handrail to the studio in response to your comment.

The studios are in a rather quiet residential area, some minutes drive from the center, yet Lewis also has plenty of parking spaces if you don't fancy to walk there. That's also a reason, why especially the Garden Studio can be regarded as the perfect hideaway. Plus, it offers plenty of space, a kitchenette and other "bare necessities" as TV,...

We stayed in the garden studio for one night to attend friends' bonfire night celebrations. The studio is a bit more than a studio I'd say. Quite large, with en-suite shower room, kitchenette, patio outside, skylights and beautifully decorated throughout. Even though it was a cold rainy and windy night we were very cosy. Can definitely recommend this - especially...

Fantastic studios with clean accommodating spacious interiors and a nice arty feel to them with a few pictures and sculptures . We loved our stay there and the host was very courteous! Definitely a place to return to! Perfect for your trip to Lewes and the surrounding areas!

Stayed for one night for a friends wedding. The studio we stayed in was lovely. Very comfortable beds, great views, WiFi, cereal, bread, fresh milk, electric shower and it was maintained at a high order, and very clean a tidy. Would recommend to friends and family.

We stayed here whilst walking the South Downs Way and had booked the Garden Flat. The owners were warm and friendly and the accommodation very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast is provided in the flat for you to serve yourself (cereals, bread, preserves, milk, etc). It was a lovely evening when we arrived and the owners invited us to...

We stayed in The Studio, the cheaper of the two studios. Clean and well presented, the Studio gives you all the freedom of self-catering without having to take on a full weeks rental and with services included. Cereals, bread, milk, tea and coffee are replenished daily and the studio is serviced daily. Downsides are that there is no view from...

I stayed here for one night in May and thought it was great. The "studio" was a wooden chalet in the grounds of the residential property and was beautifully designed, an apartment with a spacious open-plan area containing a a little kitchen and dining area containing all the basic fittings one needs, plus a generous supply of coffee, tea, cereals...

Stayed in the small studio 26/1/13. Paul was a welcoming host and the studio was very clean, comfortable and equipped for our short stay. Much nicer than staying in a hotel. Would book again. Thank you!
