Lovely stay - Liz & Alfredo made us feel very welcome indeed. Well-equipped rooms, not state-of-the-art but lots more facilities and little touches than you would expect. Excellent wi-fi. Breakfast was superb, served in a lovely dining room or the conservatory. House is close to the town and seafront whilst seeming in the middle of the countryside.

Our room was comfortable and well equipped. Liz and Alfredo are lovely people. The breakfast was excellent with a lovely view of gardens from the conservatory. Will definitely be back when we next see something at White Rock theatre (it is close by). The main town is within easy walking distance.

Elizabeth and Alfredo are excellent hosts, we had a lovely welcome and even had our bag carried up to the room which was spotlessly clean, we had the superior double which had the Jacuzzi bath and king size bed, and it was well worth the extra money, the breakfast was lovely and it was a good size, nothing was any...

Elizabeth and Alfredo are very charming and accommodating people, who will gladly help you with everything you require. With a warm greeting and smile, my hosts met me on my arrival, even carrying my bags from the car! Customer service is beyond the call of duty at Summerfields House. Lovely cozy romantic hotel. Very friendly owners made us feel at home. Great breakfast set us up for the day. Excellent for hastings town and just a ten minute walk to the theatre. Definitely would recommend and stay here again.

This was our second stay at Summerfields House, we stayed for one night after an evening out at The White Rock Theatre. Where do I start?! It was a lovely experience from beginning to end starting with a warm, friendly welcome from Alfredo and Liz. We stayed in the Roses room with ensuite bathroom, the room was nicely decorated and...

Stayed 4 nights, spotlessly clean, warm, with a comfortable bed and a lovely sea view. Alfredo and Liz couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly and the breakfasts (plenty of variation available) were well cooked and in generous portions, (no pigeon sized eggs or see through bacon here) All told we couldn't have expected better and if we are back...

We stayed here for just one night whilst visiting the area for a wedding. Liz and Alfredo are lovely, they couldn't have been more friendly and attentive. The room that we stayed in was 'Hedgerows' as a twin room. It was clean and comfortable with little extra touches like homemade cookies (gorgeous!), DVD's and books and a fridge in the...

Stayed one night. Alfredo and Liz very warm and welcoming. Room was spotless and bed was extremely comfortable. There was also home made cookies in a jar, delicious. Excellent breakfast menu. I had Eggs Florentine, this was cooked to perfection. I will certainly stay there again, if I am down that way.

I decided on this B & B as was impressed with reviews on TripAdvisor. Journey was a bit fraught and got there later than expected. Not an easy place to find. Next door to Travelodge. Were showed to our rooms by Liz who thought that we had booked for 4 people not 3 so realised that I had been over-charged....
