Our three children booked the India Room in the hotel as a surprise for our wedding anniversary. We were spoilt from the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out! The four course breakfast in bed, was such a treat! Room was gorgeous, warm, sumptious, bathroom amazing! Everything in the room you could possibly want or need. The...

I decided to treat my partner to a couple of nights away for his birthday, and searched for a hotel with something a bit different. I loved the idea that each room at the Zanzibar was themed to a different part of the world - I booked the India room as that was within my budget. Also the photographs showed...

Having stayed before we knew what to expect. The staff are lovely, eager to please, nothing is too much trouble. I love the fact that you are offered the chance to change the room you've booked if others are available - thanks for allowing me to have a look I know which I'll book next time. We had drinks in...

This is a very special hotel where extraordinary effort has gone into theming each room around locations like Manhattan, Africa and Morocco, even down to the style of bath and toilet - you get square and small in Japan, ice-like tile effects in Antartica. There is a real emphasis on the sensual with lots of textures and mood lighting but...

That's not necessarily a great claim to fame as there are few to compare with, but it's certainly an excellent example of the popular boutique style of hotel with unique themed rooms. We chose Antartica, a large room with huge sea view, vast comfy bed and roomy deep bath. The young people working there were charming without exception. Food in...

We have been a number of time before staying in South America, Japan, Africa and Antarctica. But this time we chose the Manhattan Rooftop. Check in was quick and easy car parking just across the road in the underground car park. And by the time I got back cocktails had already been delivered to the room. We had our dog...

Very much enjoyed our stay here. A very comfortable and attractive room (South America) with a lovely bed and huge bath. The breakfast was excellent and very generous, and you can choose to eat in your room or in the restaurant. It was relaxing to eat in the room whilst enjoying the sea view. The staff were helpful and polite....

Special anniversary arranged by my wife. Stayed overnight in the 'Bali' room and had dinner and breakfast in their 'Pier 9' restaurant. Could not fault. Room very good, food excellent and staff very friendly and professional.

Comfortable beds and good sea view but NO LIFT. Stayed in Antarctica with faulty TV and low hanging icicle chandelier, which bumped my head several times. Friendly but amateur service. Not worth the money spent.

We stayed on the top floor, in ‘India’ which was one of the cheaper rooms, £115 B&B, and it was absolutely fabulous so I would have loved to have seen one of the larger sea view rooms, they must be spectacular! The room was tastefully decorated with some gorgeous pieces of original furniture and a fabulous, comfortable bed. There was...
