I stayed one night at the Senclac after a friend's 40th birthday party. I was really pleased with my choice. The owners are friendly and welcoming. My room (12) was beautifully decorated in a mix of contemporary and tasteful 'retro' styles, with a very comfortable bed, and good quality shower - and was spotlessly clean. Other B&Bs (many of which...

I stayed here for four nights and wanted to have a little more space than normally staying in a hotel or B&B room so chose an apartment and little extra cost to the B&B option and it turned out to be a great decision. The separate bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and lounge were all decorated to a high standard and little...

We were super impressed with Senlac guesthouse. The room was beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed and high quality bed linen. The bathroom, although small, was nicely done with a good shower and great water pressure. Most impressive was the attention to detail, bathrobes, filled water carafes on both sides of the bed, plug converter, labelled plugs and a comprehensive...

This is the second time we've stayed here and had a very good experience both times. Very close to the station and a 10 min walk to the old town, nice and quiet, lovely rooms. The owners obviously care about making sure their guests are happy. Very good value too. Would definitely stay there again!

Vicky showed us to our room and explained how everything worked. Lovley comfortable rooms. Breakfast was the best I have tated in a long time. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse to family and friends

I stayed in one of the bedrooms for a few days and then moved into Apartment 2 when joined by my family. Both excellent. Spotlessly clean with great attention to detail. Beautifully decorated and furnished and the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Very well located near old and new towns, the station, the beach and a short walk to the Jerwood...

My wife booked accommodation here and took a chance. In the end it was a chance that proved to reap rewards. Hastings is one of those funny little old coastal towns that I have visited several times over the past thirty plus years. Having lived near some of the most amazing beaches in the world, the pebble beach that is...

We have been to Hastings ~5 times over the last few years and it has always been hard trying to find a nice hotel that is also in close proximety to the main attractions. This was top notch. The rooms were decorated nicely and the service was impeccable. Next time we come down we will make a point of coming...

We spent our anniversary here and can highly recommend Senlac. Our room was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and all the linens were to a high standard. We were so impressed with the attention to detail! Vicky went above and beyond to give us information about the local area and make us feel warmly welcomed. The breakfast was delicious and the...
