Good - position - sea view, close to town and restaurants, parking underground free. Poor - no lift so might have to lug your luggage up two or three flights of stairs. Bathroom very small. No double glazing so street noise can be irritating - imagine this would be really bad in summer - and a bit cold even with...

Wasn't sure about this small B&B when first go there, but weather was horrid and long journey. Our room was small but the finishing touches made it special. It is very clean, the breakfast was amazing and the towels in the bathroom were the softest ive ever had in a hotel - any where! The bed was comfortable, shower in...

Very good location for this seafront hotel. Excellent service by Sarah the receptionist. Hotel does need a bit of TLC, looking tired. But worth the rates. Unfortunately this is another hotel that puts 'single' travelers in a small room at the back of the hotel!! Why must we be punished for traveling alone!

This was a last minute decision to go to Hastings for New Year - and so our choice of hotel was limited. We chose Alexander's on the basis of it's location and price (not expensive, given that a lot of the other hotels were already full. We received a call from the hotel as we were heading there to ask...

Spotlessly clean, which isn't easy in such an old house with such high ceilings - not a cobweb in sight! The single room was cosy, but still had all facilities - modern shower (hot and very good water pressure), tea and coffee, even and armchair and wardrobe. You could hear a little bit of noise from the street, but you...

Very good hotel in an ideal location. The free overnight parking just over the road was a bonus. The reception staff were very friendly and explained the parking. Situated in a square very close to the town centre.I would certainly recommend this hotel.

We had a nice two-night stay at Alexander's. The staff were the highlight - friendly and efficient, especially explaining and organising parking. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was good, and the location is good. We had a double room at the rear of the hotel, which was a little shabby in places (the secondary glazing didn't close or...

Easy to book and warm welcome!Great sea view room. Very comfortable bed and excellent shower. It's an earlier than some check out but lucky enough to be allowed a little extension. Able to park outside, but even if we couldn't car park voucher available. Looking forward to our next stay!

Visited family for the first time with my fiance in Hastings and found this hotel to have a great location and great views. It has access to all of the attractions such as the new Pier, Old and New Town, Marine Centre and all of the museums. We found Hastings wonderful and the Alexanders Bed and Breakfast added to the...

Booked three night break but very disappointed, mirror full of finger marks. Paper and dirt behind dressing table, one electric socket with 4 way adaptor. Curtains not quite big enough to keep light out.all in all very disappointed as could have paid less for different hotel but thought pay more for a bit more luxury. In fact only stayed one...
