Brighton House is a warm and welcoming hotel in a great location. Room was clean and tasteful. The friendly, sincere staff went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was delicious (fresh pastries, soft boiled eggs, wide selection of fruit, pot of tea and rack of toast brought to my table by the wait staff). I appreciated the conscientious...

Ideal accommodation for a weekend in Brighton; central but in a quiet area, parking (£12.50 a day) just outside the door in public car park below the square, spacious rooms, with eclectic furnishings. Buffet breakfast extensive, varied and high quality. Organic produce, a commitment to the enviroment and as much organic cake as you can eat for free on the...

We got one of the last double rooms available for the Bank Holiday weekend, and Our Room at the top of the House, well worth the climb for the views of Park and side sea-view, better than no view at all! We had a shower en-suite, and as we are small people was fine for us. Reasonable breakfast choices, including...

Thank you for your review on Brighton House. We are always on hand to carry guests bags to rooms on the top floors. Our single rooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floors and are very popular with single travellers on a budget. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future to stay with us again.

We stayed here recently having read some favourable reviews on Tripadvisor. We were very disappointed. The room was small, cold and very dated, although it was well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities. The bedroom really did need to be refurbished. The bathroom was worse, with laminate walls and an inadequate shower, with one of those shower gel dispensers...

We are saddened by your comments but appreciate that we cannot please all with our normally well received offering. For reference to our other guests we wish to address the following points. Some of our double rooms are small and it is for this reason that they are advertised as being small. We make no allusion to the fact and...

I stayed for one night as a solo traveller and I was impressed by everything during my stay. When booking it was made clear that the single room I had booked was on the top floor (with no lift) and this was not a problem for me. The room was a decent size and the bed larger than a standard...

Nicely situated in Regency Square a genuine 5 minute walk from The Lanes, maybe 10 minutes to the Pavilion or a £5 taxi ride. Great base to explore/shop/visit with an NCP directly outside (£12.50 for 24 hours). More a guest house I suppose but still had all we needed, including room 35 with a 4-poster bed and spacious bathroom. £150...

Searched for a guest house, at this standard, in Brighton for ages. I needed a good sandard of accomodation in walking distance of promenade and town centre. A place to sleep and feel secure. Nothing fancy but respectful of the guest requirements- a good breakfast, clean bedroom and ensuite, a profesional welcome. I have booked all my subsequent stays here....
