After reading the reviews we decided to make up our own mind on this quaint hotel. Im glad we did as we found the stay a awesome experience. We were given two choices of room when we were greeted and choose the prince room. Tom expained about parking to us and showed us to our room. The decor was beautifull...

Met by one of the owners on arrival who had obviously been drinking , after check in we never saw another member of staff until breakfast next day .We stayed in the Prince Regent room on the first floor, room had good decor, but paintwork was old and flaking and in desperate need of refreshing ,as was the whole place really....

Love it here. Stayed twice now and will stay again. Choosing a different room each time. The rooms are all individually themed and full of character. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great location too. Negatives are the breakfast which was a bit 'thrown together' and the paintwork could do with a bit of TLC here and there. The climb...

A hotel ‘experience’ that could have been great, but instead was slightly better than crap. Stayed for 4 nights, and was greeted on arrival by one of the three owners who was pissed at 11:30 on a Monday morning. In fact when we saw him later that day at around 7pm and he still smelled of alcohol. We took the...

Stayed one night here and not in a particular rush to return. Room was clean, though carpet quite stained. Also noted unattractive stain on back of bedspread. Bathroom very nice. Bed not great. Breakfast very poor - very stale croissants (brick like), off grapefruit juice (fizzy), cold toast and ungenerous portions of cooked items which seemed to have been sitting...

This hotel is a very nice change from the normal, new build chain hotels I normally stay in. However, it must be noted that the building is old; if you want perfect and spotless stay in a Travel Lodge. The room was lovely. The decoration was fantastic, although the carpet was in need of a good shampoo. The only let...

My boyfriend & I stayed here on 4th-6th November. We booked late via Hotels.com £130.00 for 2 nights (including breakfast). The hotel has 8 themed rooms and because it is a listed building there are no lifts but the climb to the top of the hotel was worth it as we have never seem a hotel room decorated like this...

We stayed at this hotel earlier this week, and had a wonderful time. We were in the Bejing Dragon room, loved the decoration and the jacuzzi bath. The staff could not have been more helpful, and were very good in providing a special breakfast for my vegetarian boyfriend. The only tiny niggle was that the wifi was slow, but I...

Stayed here last thursday night for my birthday. We had the Louis room which was nice and had a good view of the square / sea. The staff were really helpful and pleasant, a good breakfast brought to our room and lovely molton brown products in the bathroom. The only downfall was that it felt a bit worn, the bathroom...
