The Imperial Hotel in Brighton & Hove mixes tradition and function with a light, fresh airiness. Its ideal position – at the end of the broadest of avenues – with its uncluttered outlook by the sea, is situated alongside Hove Promenade and The Lawns. This functional, exceptionally good value hotel is of the Regency period; its high ceilings and spacious bar and lounge are noticeable, as is its still, calm ambiance. The Imperial provides an excellent level of customer service and its conference facilities, coupled with a smart bar and an attractive restaurant, make it an equally popular venue for a variety of functions. Ample Parking is available on the street and surrounding areas using our low cost residential permit scheme at just £6.00 per day. We also offer spaces on a 'first come first served basis' on our hard standing area at £15 per day. The Imperial Hotel is the perfect choice whether you are visiting for pleasure or business!

After finishing a contract in Sussex, I decided to stay in the area for new years eve. I got a great deal on a two night stay for 160. Bargain considering the time of year. On site parking was 12 a night, but by all means not secure and not what I'd call properly off road.

We appreciate your staying over the New Year and hope you had a great time. We are also delighted you enjoyed your time at the Imperial overall If a guest chooses to use the hotel's hard standing area, this is most definitely off the road and is private property with both CCTV and security lighting; of course as with any private parking area, owners do park there at their own risk; so it is about having a choice with the alternative being to park in the designated areas along Frist Avenue where the hotel can provide vouchers under the Council approved scheme

I keep coming back to the Imperial due to its perfect location when visiting friends in Hove, proximity to Brighton and in general being a great hotel. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful and try their best to meet any special requests. The room I have asked for

The hotel is super cute!! but had problems with the windows not closing properly so cold air was always slightly blowing in (could hear it blowing in from outside the door). Plus had the heater on full and it didn't reach around the full room, especially because they changed it

Given the excellent feedback about our team here, it is a great shame you chose not to communicate your concerns which would have allowed swift action. I mean why would you have been "shot down"? Whilst we are naturally sorry your stay did not hit all the right notes, by equal measure it would appear we were denied the opportunity of remedying the situation

Clean place, warm room and comfy bed. Good location for buses or walking distance along the beach to Brighton (30 mins). If you wish for a quiet room ask for back of the hotel. Breakfast basic, not top notch produce, ask for anything cooked is the better option. Staff are polite

Stayed 3 nights, late October. Beautiful room, recently decorated. Comfortable, warm bed with 4-post bedstead. Bathroom very basic & not really good enough. Room was at end of long, long corridor through 6 small fire doors. No bell staff to help with cases. Conversion meant part

We were sorry to learn that your stay did not hit all the right notes; to ensure the building is properly protected and especially the internal staircases, quite rightly and strictly in accordance with the fire service, there are necessarily a number of fire doors along the first floor The hotel retains appropriate maintenance support and has access to on call professionals for those occasions were specialist help is required We trust you will have a good journey back to the Middle East

How far are bars and clubs?
t is a Twenty min walk to Brighton, but there are loads of bars nearby and on the sea front, bus stop 3 min walk and 5/10 min on the bus, taxi”s around 5/6 pounds, but I walked most places if weather nice you can walk pass shops, Resturants, bars and coffee shops. Or scenic route on the sea front
