Treated ourselves to a very rare weekend away and wished I hadn't bothered. Hotel was well over priced at £159 for the night. Staff were welcoming and friendly but rooms basic and in need of renovation. For the price I was expecting more. Breakfast choice was limited and the restaurant wasn't open for evening meals. Noise from the traffic and...

Nice enough... bit dated in places. Bar / reception could do with a makeover. Staff were helpful and polite. The room was basic but comfortable.. clean and quiet. Breakfast was OK... not the best I've had... but no where near the worst... would happily recommend and would use again. Good location.

My husband and I spent the weekend at the King's Hotel. We were both well pleased, it is in a great location on the sea front, really close to the new (British Airways) i360 viewing platform & Conference Centre, and the central part of the sea front; also a short walk from the Churchill Centre and shops. Our room was...

Good clean hotel they say currently under refurbishment but I saw no sign of that? I think my double room was a little over priced at £160 for 2 nights B&B but it is a sea front location, I had a side window sea view, breakfast was lovely and staff were really helpful. I probably would use it again as...

Great hotel on the seafront of Brighton. Had a seaview room which was fabulous. Woke up & watched the waves splashing outside. Room was large & clean. Bed was very comfy. Bathroom was large & spotless. Lots of space for clothes in wardrobe. Extra pillows too which always makes me happy. Breakfast was delicious. Fab choice of cereals too. Bar...

I was a bit concerned after reading some negative reviews and about the renovation work. The hotel is under gong refurbishment but it never bothered us, and we had a lovely newly decorated en suite room, which was very clean, warm and quiet with a great shower. The hotel staff were very friendly, smart, and welcoming. Breakfast was good, delicious pancakes...

I couldn't face the clinical environment of most budget hotels, so I picked this one for an overnight to Brighton. We were going to the Brighton Centre which was a very easy 8 minute walk away. Competitively priced at a cost of £55 for a standard double as long as everywhere was clean I would be happy. More than that...
