People keep saying that this hotel is crap but it is not my opinion is they hate because they can hate if you went with a child they would enjoy it very child friendly near sea life and pier but like all hotels there is a weak spot my friend Joseph stayed in room ninety and it was too loud...

£225 for one night - such a ripoff. You'd expect 4/5* for that price. Given the general state of the hotel and quality of the room, I'd struggle to give it 1*. The hotel is falling apart - damp walls, peeling wallpaper, stained bath, rotten window sills - need I say more. UGH!!

When we arrived at the hotel, we were met by drunken men in the foyer shouting and chanting, and annoying the other guests. The hotel staff did nothing to stop them and one drunken person was trying to work one of the mobility scooters!! We checked into what was supposed to be a Superior room with sea view. You couldn't...

Have just returned from 4 nights at the Royal Albion with National Holidays. You get what you pay for. The room was clean but the furniture very dated. We had a sea view but could hardly see it for the dirty windows. The hotel is in need of modernising. We would return as for what we paid it was adequate....

Very dirty and old room. Carpet was old and smells, the bathroom was the worst I ever been.... Never ever recommend and a waste of money and staff are not friendly, unhelpful and not very welcoming. The only good thing in this hotel is the location but to stay there is a BIG NO NO NO.

Stayed with 2 friends and my partner. On arrival thought what a good location, bar over looking pier and sea, central for town. Room large, bed comfy sheets and towels clean, ample pillows. Windows filthy, jacuzzi bath didn't work, bathmat disgusting. Breakfast good choice, probably the best part of staying here. Dinner was dreadful. Fried fish cremated, sausages looked like...

I booked this hotel before looking it up on trip advisor and was worried when i saw all the bad comments and not to mention the pictures that came up of the hotel rooms. However we had a lovely room over looking the pier which also had a balcony. The room was basic but the price of it was so...

Time to pull it down and start afresh. I have been staying at this hotel frequently over the last eight years and, sadly, watched it's steady decline. It is faded, tired, drab, worn and actually sad. Specifics: carpets are worn and grubby in the public areas and stained in the bedrooms (I have stayed in four rooms this year); all...

Hi. I read the reviews on here the morning before setting off and was so worried about what we were going to find! I'm 36 weeks pregnant and we were taking my 2 yr old daughter. When we arrived at Brighton we were so pleased to see the hotel was right opposite the pier and sealife centre. Then the receptionist...

We traveled and arrived at the royal Albion on Friday 9th May 2014. We paid £159 for 2 nights for 2, and went with 2 friends who also took up the deal. Well what can I say? We have been on many of these deals and this has to be the worst. We stayed in room 108, which was very...
