Lovely rooms. Clean with interesting retro decor. Lovely service - simple but there when needed. Good location. Not cheap, but good price compared to other top Brighton hotels. Fully recommended for a relaxed stay in Brighton.

We stayed the weekend,in a third floor room wth sea view. Room itself was ok- clean, reasonably comfortable bed, pleasant toiletries, towelling robes etc. However, the first night we got very little sleep as people in room below partying til 3am sounded like they were sitting on our bed- no insulation at all between rooms. As no phone in room...

My wife & I really enjoyed the two days we spent here. The management and staff are so friendly; the rooms, though compact, are stylish and comfortable; the breakfast was welcoming and the dinner and service in The Set were exceptional. This is a relatively small, youthful and slightly funky place so if you're looking a large, traditional chain hotel,...

I booked this hotel as part of a 14-person group business trip and we occupied 8 rooms for two days. From the planning, which took place months and months prior, up until the check-out the service was amazing. The staff were always present and went out of their way to ensure all needs were met whilst adding to the friendly...

We felt so welcomed from the moment we entered to the moment we left. The little touches made it for us. Loved the roberts radio playing as we first went into the room, decor was warm and cosy, cocktail bar attached was relaxing and all of the individuals who served us from reception to waitresses were simply amazing! Even the...

Artist Residence is obviously great in terms of decor and style, but what struck me the most was the service. All of the staff were really helpful and chatty and willing to talk a lot, with recommendations for places to go and eat and whatnot. I was able to sit for hours after breakfast working in the cafe and my...

Had a wonderful stay at the Artist Residence the other day. We were in one of the big rooms at the front - the one of the first floor. There was an open plan copper bath, four poster bed and overall great vibe. The large bay window looks out over the sea (shame about the new tower they've put up...

My girlfriend and I have stayed here twice before in the 'Cosy Room' and 'Sea View Room' and fell in love with the place! The third time we had the presence of our 10 week old baby, Alfie, and stayed in the 'Below Deck for 4'. We were a little apprehensive about bringing a young baby as we didn't want...

Artist Residence Brighton Hotel is well located at the top of Regency Square facing the seafront. It's a redone four/five story collection of old townhouses. The theme is industrial chic, rooms small and filled with interesting bric-a-brac, elevator a two person clunker. E.g. cupboard in bedroom consisted of two old metal school lockers. Young, attractive, mostly pierced and tatooed, staff...

I took my 16 year old daughter for one night as a treat. We shared a room which was amusingly and uniquely decorated by an artist, really comfortable - delicious bed - she slept on a sort of sofa bed, lovely toiletries - these small things matter. Staff were charming, cocktails were great, food was interesting and tasty, table tennis...
