Good location and the room was very quiet. I left a book and a belt behind and got an email from customer service that housekeeping found it – brilliant and really unusual service from a hotel. Well done! The effective reception, housekeeping staff and others went out of their way to be helpful, too. We were only staying for one...

Ideally located with all the amenities you need. Close to the Lanes (some great places for breakfast), restaurants and bars. Best way to describe the room is as grown up luxury student accommodation. The room has everything you need; a safe, an excellent choice of teas and coffees (though no bottled water) and a fabulous shower. I loved the different...

The hotel was disappointing at best. Our room was stuck together with silicon, the chipboard desk was chipped, the room was shabby and uncomfortable in spite of the hotel selling itself as 'boutique', suggesting something more exclusive and fashionable. There was no quality or comfort and, to be frank, it was a funky version of the Premier Inn - but...

This hotel is perfectly located in the Lanes in Brighton, however this location means that it is very noisy. I asked for a quiet room and was given one on the first floor over the bar and overlooking the pub and street outside. There was noise even at 2 am. Huge room, very comfortable bed and fantastic shower. Sadly no...

A very modern and quirky hotel. I visited with my 20-year-old partner for sight-seeing and nightlife which the hotel was only a short walking distance from. We stayed in a standard room which was very clean and contemporary, on a Saturday night which resulted in a lively bar downstairs, however noise was not an issue during our stay. Comfy beds,...

Rooms are ok but slightly small. Have to keep blinds shut quite a lot because of street views. Reception staff were not particularly warm or interested. The breakfast is £10 for an average continental such that elsewhere looks better value. There is plenty better in Brighton

I've recently stayed here with my partner on a Friday evening. Great fun! The reception lies just in front of the cocktail bar so as soon as you arrive you get to test the atmosphere of the place - music and chatter all around. Our room was a superior on the second floor. As soon as you get in the...

Stayed on a Sunday night when seeing Lee Mack at the Brighton Centre. Good location. Glad we paid Sunday night prices rather than usual weekend rates. The lobby and bar area look very tired and there was an unpleasant smell about them. Check in wasn't great (completed feedback questionnaire and have been offered a complementary upgrade next time we stay...

When myHotel frist arrived in Brighton I always thought it was one of those cheap, futuristic pod hotels - turns out I was wrong! After finding the hotel online I booked a Superior Double to celebrate being with my wife for 10 years and when we turned up I was told by the incredibly friendly and helpful lady on the...

Picked the hotel at random based on the website. Very friendly welcome and upgraded for £10. Difficult to find by road but once there you are in the centre of everything. Huge selection in mini bar at usual minibar prices. Overall good location clean and tidy with very futuristic room layouts
