Having read all the wonderful reviews, we had high expectations of Easter Cottage but were a little disappointed. We had a change of room when we arrived and ended up with the back bedroom . The room was comfortable and the en suite very spacious and included a corner bath. However, we found the mini fridge rather noisy at night....

This was our first stay ar Easter Cottage & it was all as advertised. Room was clean & comfortable. Location very good. The parking can be an issue though with a first come first serve basis with a narrow road to negotiate & park in. Breakfast was very nice with lots of choice. Dave the owner was helpful & very...

This pretty cottage is a lovely base for a stay in Swanage. The host is welcoming and friendly and both rooms are attractive and comfortable. The rooms have everything that you could possibly need. Breakfast is generous and there is a wide choice, it certainly kept us going all day. We will definitely return to this guest house.

Great accommodation, only two rooms but both very well appointed with access to a pleasant lounge. Dave is an excellent and genial host and provides a varied choice of breakfast to a very high standard.

We stayed for two nights in early August having found Eater Cottage through Trip Advisor and Expedia. The location is very central, less than a 5 minute walk to the High Street, but quiet. The room was very nicely decorated and included everything that you'd expect from a room and more - large bathroom, tea and coffee, TV with DVDs,...

Good location, excellent host, lovely breakfasts. Parking can be tight, but maybe this could be down to time of year. Accommodation lovely. We had the Peveril room which is at the front. Lots of nice touches, fresh milk in the fridge in your room. Bathrobes should you need them. A safe which is easy to work. Lots of attention to detail....

This is a great place to stay in Swanage. Lovely Grade 2 listed cottage in a quiet cul de sac only a few minutes walk from the Sea Front.Only 2 rooms both romantically fitted out. We stayed in the Purbeck room which I think is marginally the nicer. Large bath/dressingroom with a corner bath.Lovely lounge with a log fire, great...

Having read the rave reviews we arrived at Easter Cottage with high expectations. And yes, it has a huge amount going for it! The location must please almost all the people all of the time – two minutes from the stations, the shops and only a minute or two more to the beach. Parking was sorted for us by Dave...

Visited Swanage and Easter Cottage 13th Oct - 17th Oct 2014. Superb stay. Dave was an excellent host. Everything was delightful. Breakfast was wonderful, room clean and tidy, very good bathroom/shower. Lovely and peaceful. We were free to come and go as and when we wanted, but at the same time Dave was really willing to help with anything we...
