This was a great overnight break with fabulous tasting menu dinner. We had a lovely quirky room right at the top of the house, but you have to be fit to get up the stairs as they really are steep and narrow!! Couldn't fault the staff or Nicky the owner, who all looked after us and were friendly and helpful....

We've recently visited The Eastbury and the location, food and property were stunning but I was incredibly upset with the rudeness of the owner/manager when I enquired about the heating and the time I'd booked my breakfast. Maybe I caught him on a bad day but I was very upset by the way I was spoken to and unfortunately would...

We booked this hotel through Secret Escapes for £540. For this we had a superior room, 1 afternoon tea and one tasting menu pp. If one adds the cost of a 2 course meal for each of us on the other 2 nights, say £96 and subtract the cost of the teas the price is about the same as if...

Our stay at the Eastbury couldn't have been better. The staff were friendly, helpful, attentive and discrete and knew what we wanted before we did. We were in Sherborne for a celebratory weekend, which was enhanced by our stay. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel but breakfast was great. It is a very comfortable hotel with a lovely atmosphere....

Due to unscheduled family plans we asked to reschedule our visit, agreed to without a hesitation, even though it was at their discretion. We booked a two night stay, the first to include their tasting menu. Upon entering the hotel the staff made us fell most welcome and that was maintained throughout our visit. The room contained a descriptive list...

This is a lovely hotel I believe if you are staying in the rooms/using the restaurant. However we attended an evening wedding party and thought the facilities - function rooms, garden, bar etc were good and had some tasteful decorations. I don't know if you would find the noise of the disco disturbing if you were staying there but weekend...

We had a double room at the front of the hotel for one night only. Very well appointed and comfortable. Lovely bathroom that made the most of a limited and awkward space. Quite luxurious. At the top of the house we did experience a loss of water pressure for some time in the early evening. Mentioned on checking out -...

I wanted to take my husband away for a night for his 60th birthday . I received details of several hotels via Secret Escapes including The Eastbury Sherborne and decided to book this hotel. From the minute we arrived to our reluctant departure the following day we had an awesome time - and the stress of everyday life just fell...
