Used the hotel to meet freinds .Only stumbled on it by accident.Great place in town as most of the coffee shops are same old rubbish .Freindly staff and good service.Spotlessly clean. The front of house was being decorated but was not intrusive.Even the painters were freindly.Lovely gardens and able to sit out and enjoy the ambiance.

Our children booked the Eastbury Hotel for us all as a surprise trip for our Golden Wedding Anniversary celebration, after our return from a holiday in Cyprus. It was delightful, and we had a lovely weekend.Really lovely garden at rear of hotel, and charming patio area for sitting and enjoying a drink or two!

Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Without exception, all the staff were very polite, friendly and extremely helpful. The food was exceptional. Our stay included the seven course taster menu which was all amazing. Our only issue was that the restaurant was just too quiet. Meaning, we ended up talking in whispers, which in turn created a tense atmosphere....

We've stayed regularly at the Eastbury Hotel, and a recent visit confirms that Paul and Nicky King run an outstanding hotel. The tasting menu was delicious; the room was excellent, and recently refurbished in a pleasantly traditional style.

Stayed for two nights to have a look at Sherborne and the surrounding area. Reception very helpful, advised where the car park was (just round the corner and accessed via a very pretty garden). Room good size - nicely decorated, allowed you to see that this was in fact a really old building, plenty of storage, tea/coffee and biscuits in...

We stayed at the Eastbury Hotel on a secret escapes deal which included B&B and a 7 course taster menu. The hotel is a very short walk from the main town and there is a private car park for guests (but you will need to ask for directions). Our room – the Cowslip was absolutely amazing. The bed was huge...

We found a special offer for this hotel with the tasting menu as part of the deal. The hotel is in a quiet but central location and our room was lovely. We started with a drink in the lounge and then embarked upon a 7 course tasting menu. It was outstanding - artistically presented, high quality, delicious food and I...

I stayed here with friends back in January for the weekend. The hotel is really lovely and the people that run it are great. The breakfasts were just delicious - they have their own marmalade which is just divine - I could have eaten it all day. On the Saturday night we booked in for the tasting menu - this...

We stayed at the Eastbury on a one-night Secret Escapes offer. The 7-course taster menu and wine flight were both excellent. We had a lovely large room (Cowslip). Great location just a 5-minute walk away from the centre Sherborne. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
