Oh how I wish we had read the reviews of this hotel before booking. After having come back from 3 nights at this hotel, all I can say is the reviewers are all correct. I have written a letter of complaint to the Britannia Group so will await their response. The list of gripes is: *Stayed in a third floor...

New hotel had no sea view swimming pool etc. Was informed by staff that it is Britannia group policy to just...

We stayed here for one night after receiving a lastminute.com email, with an offer of £19. Externally the hotel is a bit outdated, so we were concerned about what the inside would be like. However, we found polite and helpful staff and a short walk up to our room. Surprisingly, once we opened the door we found modern, updated amenities...

This hotel is a cross between the Bates Motel and the one from the Shining. The last time it was updated was before tv became popular. I would rather sleep on Bournemouth beach than stay here again. Avoid.....seriously.

If you've already staid in Britannia hotels, you pretty know what you'll have for the price. They are old fashioned, a bit worn and faded, not really spotlessly clean (it goes with the old fashioned faded side) but the room is relatively spacious and clear, the bed comfortable, the bathroom quite small but all in all, it is all right...
