This is my third visit to Durley Dean through highlife deals. On arrival I was informed that I had to pay to park in the hotel car park. There was no for warning when I booked and I had never done so before. They wanted £10.00 for 24 hours. I felt this was unfair as we'd only be there for...

Room is large and bright and we had a small adjoining room with two doors giving our son his own space. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The spa and pool is small and people do not respect the adult only times. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, even though it was very busy, the staff worked very...

Having decided on a weekend away in Bournemouth, my husband and I decided to look for somewhere a bit more luxurious than the average hotel. We decided on Durley Dean after looking through the photos on booking.com and on their own website, as it looked to have a good pool and spa facilities. For those of you who do not...

My mum, sister, gran and I booked a Spa Day using a Travelzoo voucher, including one treatment and afternoon tea. Location of the hotel is very good - only a short walk to the beach. However, parking is very limited and the car park is tiny (and costs £10 per day). Luckily there was one space free, but we would...

The staff we're very polite and accommodating, and even tho I had messed up my booking they managed to sort everything out without any bother. The bedrooms are nice and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was some of the best food I have had in a hotel, very impressed with all 3 courses. My massage was good at the...

We had a very enjoyable two days here. After reading the previous reviews of the hotel is did not have great expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. We were fortunate to be able to get a space in the car park and were not at all concerned to pay £20 for 2 days parking,we did not use our car for...

Ok, in my opinion the Durley needs a lot of TLC!! In a few areas. We stayed in a superior room, as we had our little boy with us. The room is a great size, high ceilings and loads of light! However very tired looking which lets it down. They have a pool, which is great, its not huge, but...

Stayed here with a group of friends (all in our 60s). Rooms were tiny and tired as was all the decor. The staff were the saving grace, barman Ray was especially helpful. Surprised they took a £40 deposit in case we trashed the place (we didn't)
