Got to the swimming pool to find no loungers at all. Just two wooden benches. No Jacuzzi in sight. Steam room was tiny. Sauna was too hot to stand on floor and sit on bench. Hairdryer wasn't working! Car park was not easy to find, no signs at all. Overall a stressful experience. Would NOT recommend this hotel for a...

We went to book a room in October and had NO response confirming the booking was complete as we always receive confirmation from other hotels. When I called to ask why they had still charged our credit card, they fobbed me off and said they would call me back which they have NOT done so. We did book another hotel...

This is a large many roomed hotel in a great location on the West Cliff. Although dated the room was adequate and comfortable. Could do with a little more attention to detail, ie: only one towel in a double room? Would I recommend or stay again..... No. There are nicer hotels with more character, but our stay was ok.

My wife and I travelled with I.O.W. tours with our club for a turkey and tinsel break Mon to Fri. The Durley Dean is a large hotel in a good location although be warned it is for fit people only if you decide to walk to the pier or town as it is rather hilly. Our room was quite big...

Myself and 5 friends are just back from a two night stay here and whilst there were some positive things about this hotel, the overarching problem (for want of a better word) is the age of their clientele. Coachload after coachload of elderly people arrived for their Christmas parties, which in itself is no problem, however a hotel full of...

This hotel is quite well positioned for local shops and buses. You are also able to access other towns nearby. We went to Dorchester Market, Winchester Cathedral and Weymouth by coach and we got on the bus to Poole. If you walk to the beach and pier, remember the hill for the way back. Food was very good with 3...

17 hens arrive late for the pre -paid life drawing session. 6 hours late in fact due to train cancellations. To receive a phone call from a very rude unsympathetic receptionist/so-called manager when I am clearly upset missing the session is just disgusting and has lost 26 potential customers - and to basically call me a liar for not phoning...

The food exceeded my expectations and the staff are so friendly and professional. The room was large and well decorated, clean and very acceptable. We walked from the hotel in to town for some Christmas shopping which was easy. Breakfast was lovely and our waiter Joseph was consistently excellent and attentive for each of our 4 visits, surely a future...
