Well where do we begin? Well a long walk up the 3 storeys to find our room, get in to find a very basic room. The carpet is repaired with black gaffa tape, welcomed with someone's dirty sock! The beds are solid starting to think I'm wilma flintstone. But on the plus the bedding was clean! The decor was little... More

We recently stayed at this hotel on a weekend break I can't see why previous reviews are so negative. Okay, maybe the hotel needs a makeover but our room was perfectly clean with comfy bed. The dining area was immaculate and the help yourself buffet at breakfast and evening was plentiful and appetising. and the staff were friendly and efficient.... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and avoided coming back to the hotel it was that bad! Took 15 minutes to wash shampoo out of your hair because the water pressure was so bad! The room was so hot at night that it stopped us from sleeping, you couldn't even open the windows to cool... More

We were given this Groupon voucher as a Christmas present but forgot about it! When we realised we had only a few days to used it! We rang them up and booked Thursday 24th March after a long journey we arrived to a very pleased hotel warm and welcoming! After an easy check in we went to our room a... More

We paid a high premium (the most for any night we spent in the UK) as we wanted a little luxury. Well.. Where do I start. 1. Arrived 10 minutes early. Refused to check us in. Had to wait in bar with everyone else who was early. Once they did "Open" Check in, it took some people well over an... More

Have stayed at this hotel on three previous occassions, Each time like this one as part of an organised dance break. The first two times the hotel was part of the Forestdale Hotels Group and was going 'down hill' fast. The last time was shortly after Brittiania had taken it over and despite lots of workmen on site it had... More

Location is deceiving and is in Boscombe rather than Bournemouth so a long walk into Bournemouth town centre. Check in staff seemed extremely flustered and not very professional. The room that was allocated to us was already occupied and was very embarrassing for the person already in the room and for us also! When we were eventually re-issued an alternative... More

Our room still had black hairs in the bathroom from the previous occupant and on the flat roof in front of our window there were not only loads of cigarette butts but a used condom!! We were there for a rock and roll weekend and the ballroom toilets either had doors with handles missing, toilets which did not flush and... More

I was very nervous about coming to this hotel and staying 2 nights after reading some of the previous reviews. However it was better than expected. Good points are: Price. Size of a family room was massive. Clean rooms. Nice pool. Soft play (for younger children). Pleasant staff. Comfy beds. Bad points: Seriously needs updating. Bad fitted carpet. Noisy (Due... More
