Pretty hotel in the centre of town, but quiet at night. I had a well-furnished double room which ticked all the boxes. Staff were very nice and breakfast was tasty. Perfect for a stay in Bournemouth if you want to be somewhere with character that also benefits from rooms with modern facilities and is centrally located.

We were attending a wedding in Bournemouth and most of our side of the family stayed here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the food was very good. Why just 3 stars? Well, I had a longed for pint of Guinness on the Thursday evening and I did not finish it, which is unusual...

£193 for one night in a room with a horrid mattress and window that wouldn't shut fully and ripped breakfast. Plus an extra £15 each for breakfast and £15 for parking. No disabled access to pool changing rooms.

Stayed two nights in an "upgraded" room - had to phone 4 times to ensure our booking was correct and they have still sent me survey to wrong guest name ! Hugely overpriced for the room which has camp beds for The children in second room! Although we had paid for 2 rooms . Floorboards were terrible as was shower...

Needs a refurb and make over. Pool facilities are pool and quite unhygienic! Bed very uncomfortable! Wouldn't stay again unless the price was considerably lower because it's not worth the amount that's charged.

Great location and very pleasant staff. Breakfast fine, and small batches of eggs cooked at regular intervals so hot and fresh. Rooms good, but public areas looking very tired and worn and a bit tatty. Friendly but not sophisticated in any way. An up-market three star

The hotel is easy to find as it just off the Wessex Way (the through road of Bournemouth) and has an underground parking facility accessed via St.Stephens Road to the right of the Hotel, if it is not possible to park on the forecourt. The hotel is centrally positioned and is at one end of the 'square', the main shopping...

I stayed here with my daughter as we were visiting family for the weekend. The room was lovely clean and tidy although a little too warm. The hotel staff are lovely and friendly. Will be staying again.

We were booked in for 2 nights and part of a large wedding party, we chose the hotel as it was large and had a 24hr bar so we could carry on the celebrations after the reception. Check in was at 3 and for the guests that arrived on the first night check in was relatively smooth. The rooms were...

From the moment we walked into this hotel and spoke to Nickie on reception, I knew that I had made a good choice for our Easter break. Everything about the hotel was first class, all of the staff were very helpful and polite, the rooms very clean and spacious, the food in the restaurant in the evening and breakfast, excellent....
