1st time I've stayed here. Found the staff very friendly, helpful and courteous. The communal areas were clean, tidy and well presented. Obviously being a popular hotel it shows signs of people traffic. This did not detract from the experience though. The rooms were of a good size, comfortable, well furnished and warm. Both the evening meal and breakfast were... More

We initially went t the Collingwood last February for a week, it had such good reviews that we had to go to see if it was as good as people said it was? IT WAS, and we had such a great week we booked again before we left. Rooms were nicely furnished, clean and warm. Food was excellent with a... More

We stayed at the Collingwood on a Saturday night whilst visiting friends in Bournemouth. The hotel is very nice it's in a really convenient location within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. Breakfast was very good and we had a good swim in the pool. A slight criticism in that the room was quite warm and we had to... More

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend break. It is very well situated, being a 5 minute walk to the pier and a 10 minute walk to the town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the service in the restaurant. I am lactose intolerant so mentioned this when we checked in. When we... More

This was a good value three star hotel, and I do not recall staying in a better three star hotel. My big gripe would be that the double bed felt quite small and therefore uncomfortable, but then I am quite tall (1.93 m)! The room was usually quite warm, and I found that it was more comfortable with the heating... More

A good half- term break. Very good location and an excellent deal. The noise of the traffic spoiled our sleep.Great service in the restaurant and the food was delicious. A bonus to have the swimming pool and sauna after lots of walking.

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting friends. I booked it based on reviews, price and the fact that it had a pool which unfortunately we didn't get chance to use so can't comment on it. It was a nice clean hotel with parking. Location was great very near the front and the breakfast was lovely you could help yourself... More
