Had a night to ourselves. Booked Lillies room. Had a great experience. Staff excellent and room we didn't want to leave. Will definitely return. Meal in restaurant was good though quiet. Would recommend for anyone wanting to go to Bournemouth but have some luxury.

My husband and I visited for our wedding anniversary and it was perfect! On arrival, we were offered an upgrade to a suite, which we took as it had a jacuzzi bath!! The hotel was warm and welcoming and all the staff were great and friendly. Only downside was the shower wasn't very powerful but the bath was amazing! Also,... More

A bit of a quirky period piece in this age of modern, fully functional 'smart' hotels, it would seem best suited to the older, more discerning customer who likes some quiet & history (do take time to look at the artifacts dotted around the building) with a dab of 'something special' thrown in. We returned here after a number of years... More

I think it comes down to the hotel looks better on the web than is the reality. I was surprised to find it in a side street. There was nothing wrong with the room, the food or the service but it all lacked sparkle. I recognise this is a highly subjective view but offer it just to alert others to... More

Good location, clean, comfortable bed and pillows, and nice selection in welcome tray. We arrived in the midst of Storm Angus and the room was very cold. Only one of the two radiators was on, and neither of them seemed to be working at full capacity. On opening the door to the (tiny) bathroom, it was like an ice-box because... More

Having stayed in numerous hotels in bournemouth over the years it was nice to try a hotel have never stayed at before. Nicely located in a quieter area of town with plenty of parking. Friendly reception on arrival with complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge. We stayed in a double room 8, which was clean spacious, but unlike many... More

My wife likes this hotel for a treat, and in particular the Kings Room. It costs on average between £200 - £300 but that is our choice because the room is really nice. For that amount of money I do like the little things to be right though as I'm not paying £25 for a Travelodge. It started as soon... More
