Very tired decor, frayed and torn carpets, particularly on stairs, extremely creaking floorboards to our room, our room was directly over the bar, didn't need to be in the bar to hear the entertainment, heard clearly in our room until 1.00am on 2 nights. Expected to share hand towel as the policy is to give only one, despite being in...

We stayed here as it is nice and close to the BIC. The hotel is very run down, bare- threaded carpets and creaking floorboards everywhere. We were woken at two in the morning by someone trying to open the door with a key and then knocking until we opened the door. He turned out to be a drunk who thought...

Me and my husband wanted to head to the coast and get out of city so we took advantage of an offer from Go Groopie to stay at the Bourne Hall Hotel in Bournemouth. I think the best thing about the stay was the location. It was no more than 5 minutes from the beach and we were staying right...

We went on a KGB deal and we were not expecting the Ritz! and that's exactly the case with the Bourne. To be fair we got a nice smiley welcome but with a sting as she announced I would have to pay £10.00 extra (£5.00 per night) for Hotel parking, it is advertised as free on their website and also...

A group of us stayed at this hotel so got to see a variety of rooms. We had booked 2 twins, one double and one single occupancy room. The double room, (number 3), was recently decorated and had a nice big bath and was a bargain for the £40 we paid for it (including breakfast). The 2 twin rooms were...

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights over the weekend. This hotel has its ups and downs. The rooms that are advertised on their website are not what you recieve. They have only decorated 3 rooms out of the whole hotel, but cant really complain as it was cheap. The bedside lights in the bedroom do not work,...

My husband and I stayed at the Bourne Hall for two nights on a Go Groopie deal. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and tea/coffee facilities. Yes, it was in need of some TLC but staff were very welcoming, giving us local information, maps etc. We felt very relaxed and 'at home'. Our room was quiet with a...

The good points were the breakfasts were great. self service and plenty of everything. The evening meals were pretty basic but ok though overpriced .Eating areas were clean and nicely decorated.Lobby and bar...

My husband & I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights through a KGB deal offer over the bank holiday weekend. We had an excellent rate of £99 for the stay including breakfast and evening meal and in terms of value for money, it could not be faulted. It is a clean family run hotel and the owners are very...
