The room was smelly and we wasn't able to openthe windows, maybe they were stucked. The bathroom was dirty and there were marks on the bedsheet. The leasure 'centre' was like a little pond and you had pay even for the towels.

There is nothing Royal about the Royal bath hotel. This was a groupon deal and on paper looked amazing so i booked it for a romantic night away. Problems started before we even arrived as the inclusive spa treatments were not available. The rest of the trip was downhill from there. On arrival , our room wasn't ready so we...

I booked the royal bath as a treat for myself and my partner, I lived in the area for twenty years but moved away some time ago so booked into this hotel as this was always the place to stay and had a great reputation. I was happy to pay the room rate of £209 and the £20 parking as...

We stayed here last week. The location was ideal, only minutes from the beach, the hotel looked grand although could do with slight modernisation however we did find this a bit unwelcoming. The receptionist said we could not check in before 3pm without even checking to see if our room was ready. Also there is no parking unless you pay...

Stayed here for 3 nights, 1st of all the hotel took two payments off my card so had to sort that out straight away, we got put in city rooms, they are in the west wing, the west wing was right at the back of the hotel on the top floor, had no lifts to get up there. Walked into...

This hotel was once splendid but she is now a tired old lady with some charms. The main problem is they have cheapened the approach to their hospitality. The staff were polite at best and surly at their worst, what a shame but they were over worked because there were not many of them. I was locked out of my...

The Royal Bath has been recently taken over by a new hotel group. For what I paid, I thought the hotel was terrible. We went to the buffet the first night - the poached salmon was dry and the cake (for pudding) was crusty. We went to the waitress-served restaurant the next night - but the food wasnt much better...

I have never been to a "good" hotel that I was so disgusted by. Having paid a high price for Bournemouth off season I expected at least habitable rooms. What I got was a small box with no window or reasonable ventilation that had severe DAMP. Understandably put out I complained. I was told by the person on reception that...
