Second time to the Regina for turkey and tinsel 4 nights, hotel is on the flat and good location. The staff are exemplary from manager down, for under £200 what do people expect, we had transport, two day trips and 3 very good meals a day. Of course the hotel is like a warren and the decor and fittings are...

My wife and I stayed here on a Saturday night. The hotel has a good location next to the harbour and very close to the town. The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was included but I left most of mine because it didn't taste that nice. The rooms are a decent size and are...

Quite out dated, which could cope with. Sea view is of harbour, again can cope with. Cheap bed linen with no duvets and to top it off we had bed bugs. Would not recommend. Night porter was no help either!

Dear Becky T, I was concerned to hear that you found bedbugs in your room during your stay at the hotel. I would like to advise that the staff make regular checks throughout the hotel to ensure that there are no pests and the housekeeping staff have had full training in the detection of bedbugs. In any cases of bedbugs,...

stayed 4 nights at this very pleasant hotel: despite having 3 coaches in at one stage, the hotel coped very well with good management planning. My room (73) was a very small room in a quiet location. The restaurant service was excellent and efficient. The hotel was conveniently located for a flat walk to very nearby Torquay and the harbour.I recommend...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Regina Hotel - Torquay - (3 Alpha grading - AA three star). Wonderfully situated on the harbour side with the principal shops and theatre a short stroll away. Part of the Regina is interesting as the home of the poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Relaxing bar lounge, air conditioned restaurant and lively bar with dance floor and entertainment most evenings. Limited parking at the hotel but plenty of commercial parking close by. Lift serves many rooms but the hotel consists of several Georgian and Victorian buildings and there are many changes of level. ... more   less
