My wife and I stayed here here for the first week in Feb 2016, we both agree this was a first class well run little place, very high standard of presentation, accommodation and service. The food was freshly cooked and to the same high standard. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble from the pleasant welcome to the friendly chat...

Overnight stay recently to attend a funeral, and were delighted with the welcome given to us and attention to our comfort given by Janet and Andrew. They went the extra mile to provide us with early breakfast and we're friendly and helpful. Would definately visit again

We only stayed one night but Janet and Andrew made us as welcome as old friends. The room was lovely and had a fantastically comfortable large bed. Breakfast was delicious. A short but enjoyable stay.

We’ve stayed several times with Janet and Andrew in Torquay and as we drove down in September we were wondering what we were going to do with ourselves this time. On past stays we have visited stately National Trust properties like Coleton Fishacre, Agatha Christie’s House - Greenway, Killerton, Compton Castle, Bradley and Overbeck’s. We’ve revelled in the past at...

We had a lovely holiday in Torquay, staying in the Abingdon Guest House was part of this experience. We did not have far to walk to the central areas and it was a pretty walk. The facilities were very good, especially the lovely big bed and shower. Breakfast food was excellent and all choices catered for. Our hosts Andrew and...

What should have been a 3 hour journey (maximum) turned into a 6 hour journey, we were blighted by horrendous traffic and endless roadworks. When we arrived all we wanted was a warm welcome and a relax in our room enjoying something chilled. Unfortunately, we were made to feel like naughty school children for arriving late and inconveniencing the proprietors...
