I went to the upper floor which is naturally a little quieter but it is a bit of a climb. The en-suite facilities are mainly functional...

Stayed for 2 nights in march 2015. Had budget double room, sole occupancy. Paid £80 for 2 nights. Room would be snug for 2 people but for 1 was good. It was clean, shower was large, had TV & tea making in room. It was a 2 minute walk into town centre & pubs etc, and had good secure parking....

Just got back from a lovely weekend in Torquay staying at Hotel Barton. Room was lovely, nice decor, very clean and very warm as the radiator was on full, perfect welcome on a winters day. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room which is something I always look forward to when staying in a b&b/guest house. Breakfast was yummy,...

We stayed here for one night and were met with a very friendly owner Andrew. He was bubbly and up beat and was happy to help and gave us some great advice. We were up graded to the bigger room and it was clean, modern and comfy. We were also given ample room for parking which was very useful. Breakfast...

My two friends and I stayed here over the New Year period . Everything was first class. We were welcomed by Andrew who was a marvellous host. The rooms were clean and well appointed with lots of tea and coffee should you wish it. Breakfast was generous and individual requests were granted. We really couldn't fault The Barton and plan...

We stayed for 4 nights 8th - 12th November with our little dog. We met Andrew but not Helen as she was away. Andrew was great. He showed us around the public areas of his home and left us to settle in, after helping Hubster with our bags, very nice of him. The room was roomy and warm, nice modern...

Mainly chosen for the low price, location and reviews. We went for the cheapest room which is ok but is very small. Ok if all you want is a place to crash. i would advise people to pay a little extra for a better room. The cleanliness is very good and the breakfast is great! there is free parking but...
