A warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The whole place is spotlessly clean, not even a speck of dust. Breakfast was amazing, brilliant selection of cereals (I counted 24 different ones), fresh fruit, yoghurt and of course the whole english breakfast. My 10 year old grandaughter summed it up when she said 'this place is cool'.

Super hospitality! Great breakfast!! Staff extremely helpfull. Short walk to beach and city centre. The only thing.. We had the room in the top of the building. It was pretty hot but that was the only thing! I would really recommend this guesthouse!!

I stayed here with my dad for a one night stay as we saw a concert at the princess theatre, and the location was fab we couldnt of asked for a better location as it was very close to the seafront just as we wanted! The b&b itself is very dated and a bit run down, the rooms are somewhat...

We spend 2 nights at The Norwood. Veronica couldn't do enough for us, she was extremely nice and very welcoming. Mary cooked the breakfasts each morning and they were superb. We had an issue when some very inconsiderate drunk guests woke us up one morning at 2.40am by trying to get into our room, banging and shouting etc. They were...

Just returned from a family break at the Norwood. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never stayed at a pet friendly guest house before. It was absolutely great, comfortable, spotless accommodation, friendly hosts and a gorgeous breakfast which set us up for the day. Veronica could not do enough for us and went out of her way...

Relied on the TripAdvisor reviews for this one. Easy Late online booking. Hostess very nice and welcoming. Doesn't look much from outside, but quite pleasant in. Decor tidy neo-Victoriana and a bit dark in the entrance hall, but the room (8) was lovely with evening sun. Very clean with even complementary toiletries. Comprehensive welcome book. Couldn't ask for anything more...

We turned up late, & were greeted with the offer of a tea or coffee. Very polite. However, we had read there was car parking, but spaces were limited to less spaces than rooms so although alternative arrangements were made with a local guest house, it was a bit further than hoped, as we're disabled. The room was cosy, so...
