Had a great Turkey and Tinsel break Friday to Monday check out. Room 135 had a lovely view of the garden and sea. The only reason I rated it 4 star was because of the shower which had little or no water pressure making it impossible to use unless you knelt down in the small bath, held the shower head...

We recently visited the Headland for morning coffee - we were not staying at the hotel - with relatives who were staying with us. It was just a little haphazard as one member of staff took our order than another served it and one order failed to arrive - it was, after all, only scones and teacakes - but the...

Very clean, very comfortable. Excellent accommodation, excellent quality food and plenty of it. Very good spa area, small gym. Location on hill but no problem as hotel proves a daily taxi into Torquay and back. Stunning views from outside the hotel. We would be very happy to return here.

Fourteen family members stayed here to celebrate a birthday. From age 3 to 73 we found the hotel offered something for everyone. Billiard table , spa room, outside gardens, lovely terrace overlooking the bar where we were invited to eat our picnic on arrival and even offered complimentary hot drinks to go with it. The bedrooms were spacious and spotlessly...

Stayed 2 nights for October half term break with my husband, 9 year old son and my parents. We arrived on 'Christmas day' much to my son's delight as we hadn't realised that the hotel had started their Turkey and Tinsel breaks. I have never been on a T&T break before but if I was going to do this again,...

just returned today from a 3night break, booked by friends who had stayed at this hotel earlier in the year. Food was excellent as our friends had already told us, 6 course dinner which includes tea/coffee, all beautifully presented. Breakfasts also fab, plenty of choice, all cooked fresh and served quickly and with a smile. bar prices reasonable, and a...

Having just spent 3 nights at this hotel I would like to say how wonderful it was. There were ten in my party and all of us were very impressed with the level of standard. The food was exceptional and it was lovely to be waited on rather than a self service buffet. Our waitress was Catarina who was just...
