David urquhart trip to Torquay. Went on two trips both were good. The hotel staff were the politest I've known nothing was too much trouble, all the meals were hot and plentiful . The entertainment was great , bingo for half an hour then a singer, the singer on the Thursday (can't remember his name) was a brilliant singer and...

Having stayed at the Burlington Hotel from the 13th July for 5 days I cannot fault it in any way. My room was clean and comfortable. My shower was red hot day or night. From the hotel staff right through to the waitress in the dining room, nothing was to much trouble for them. Reasonably priced bar, entertainment was brilliant,...

Have just completed a 5 day stay here. For a 2 star hotel it has plenty going for it. It's clean, the staff are unfailingly friendly, polite and helpful, the bar prices are more than competitive. The location maybe not the best, but it is hardly out of the way. Now, the food. For a 2 star hotel the quality...

Hi, yes, good day. Just got back from long journey down to the bay to compete in the Burly Pool Tournament, happy as Larry mate i had a slow start to the evening but I eventually settled into the atmosphere and got into my rhythm. I managed to win the tournament which I am well chuffed about mate. Anyway, about...

There's one thing paying a budget rate for a budget service but even in the cheapest hotel you'd expect cleanliness & comfort! At the Burlington Hotel you certainly don't get either! The one positive review was that the receptionist who booked us in was very friendly. One of the many negative points was that my first impression, as I walked...

Just spent 5 day holiday here. Hotel dated but clean. Room acceptable, clean linen, clean towels. Lots of dust on wardrobe tops and drawers dusty but food was good and service was excellent. Evening entertainment was also ok. Easy 10 mins walk downhill to town centre and harbour and if hill back too much then good bus service. Only downside...

Up a steep hill a 10-15 minute walk from the harbour. The hotel is scruffy. The food is awful, small portions, tasteless, had to buy food from the local Co - op. However the staff are helpful and friendly. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties. The rooms do vary, l would not recommend this hotel to anybody except the demolition...
