Had to travel down on sad circumstances to Torquay where we were booked into the marstan. Stay here was great, very clean, top breakfast and owners could not have done enough to make our short stay so warm and welcoming.

We arrived at the Marston to be greeted by Ian offering a cup of tea which was much welcomed after a very difficult journey due to fog. The Marston is a grand yet welcoming place to stay owners Ian and Craig are extremely nice and welcoming. The Marston served up probably the best full English breakfast I have ever had...

I had a lovely time here thanks to Craig and the rest of the staff who made our stay so pleasant. A quite place very close to the city centre and to the harbour. There are plenty of things to do around the area and the staff is more than happy to give recommendations.

If you opt for either of the rooms overlooking the Pool area you won't be disappointed (i;m sure all the other rooms are lovely also but these were great) I stayed with my elderly parents and Partner for one night having only booked earlier that day. Tea was served by Ian on our arrival and we were made to feel...

Just back from a two night stay as a couple at The Marstan, was a really relaxing time and was a fantastic base for us. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The ensuite facilities were fabulous. The owners Ian & Craig with their rescue labrador Harvey made us really welcome. It's only a 10 minute walk down to the...

Spent one night here while walking the SW coast path. It is well located for this as it is less than 200 metres from the path. We had a long walk that day and tea followed by a shower and then a spell in the hot tub was the perfect way to finish. We had an early start the next...

We stayed in September 2016. We checked in late and headed straight out for food. Torquay by night was shocking. Not the English Rivera I was led to believe. For every doorway there was a vagrant. All bars had bouncers, and they needed them ! However the B&B was nice. I was happy to get through the door after our...
