We have just come back from a wonderful 3 day break at the Charterhouse. To say Les and Marion made our break special is an understatement. They are the nicest, helpful and friendliest people you could hope to meet. We stayed in the Riviera Room which is spacious, beautifully decorated and has a lovely view of the sea. The full... More

We stayed in a family room with our 14 yr old which was actually two adjoining rooms. We were made to feel really welcome on arrival, with Marion filling us in on the local area. Breakfast is excellent with everything you could possibly want- from fresh fruit, homemade bread & jams to a full English. It is situated a short... More

We travelled with 2 adults and 1 kid. Our room was spacy (family room with actually two bedrooms) and equipped with a fridge, tea cooker, a new shower and everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. Marion welcomed us warmly and gave us many recommendations and tipps. Highlight definitely was the breakfast. From self-made bread and marmalade to fresh... More

Friendly and welcoming owners, who were really helpful, even getting us soya milk and yogurts due to food allergies. Very comfortable room with a view of the garden. Breakfast was delicious - homemade bread, croissants, cereals, fruit juice and a cooked buffet.

I've eaten many a cooked breakfast but this hotel seems to have got it right to a T. Great quality ingredients, beautifully presented and piping hot.
