We decided to make a trip to Torquay at short notice for a couple of nights (Thu& Fri) and looking online this stylish boutique hotel seemed to fit the bill. We were not disappointed. We were met with a warm welcome from Roger one of the hosts, and given advice as to where we could dine during our stay, which...

We stayed here when visiting Torquay on business, the rooms were bright, airy and very acceptable everything was immaculately prepared. The breakfast (included in room rate) was excellent local produce and freshly cooked.

On getting there we checked in early at no extra charge this could be because it was winter. There is a two track two step ramp to get In for the wheelchair quite easily managed as long as you have someone to push even though the owner was there to assist, tight corridor to the room if your chair is...

We had a three night midweek break the second week of February which is usually hazardous considering the British weather even for the English Riviera. How lucky we were: not only did we get some super walking and exploring but each day we returned to a comfortable and welcoming B&B run by Roger and Peter. With the great choice of...

This is probably the 20th time my Partner and I have stayed at the Haytor. A lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms and just a short (downhill) walk to the Harbour side. A cooked breakfast (beautifully done) every morning gets you off to a good start for another day of exploring the town of Torquay and the surrounding area -...

What a wonderful little hotel! The proprietors Roger and Peter are fantastic; really knowledgeable about the local area, attractions and restaurants and happy to spend time chatting and answering questions. We just stayed the one night and were made to feel very welcome. The room was lovely as was the bar, general decor and facilities. The breakfast was top-notch providing...

Had a lovely two night stay here. Everything was perfect from the hosts, decor, room, location, breakfast. Lots of thought has gone into the business, from the jam spoons, butter dishes, pillows to carpark spacing every little detail has obviously been thought about. I can't wait to return when the weather is warmer as the garden looks lovely to sit out...
