Stayed here just for one night with my husband, on arrival the receptionist was polite, friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble to be honest. He hotel itself is clean and the reception area very inviting. Our room (Lewis) was lovely, ample room with a lovely bathroom, sliding mirrored wardrobes and lovely decor and spotlessly clean. We booked a sea...

The room booked through Hotel.com bore almost no relation to the room we were offered at the hotel apart from they both had a bed and bathroom, the room at the hotel was a dull, dingy shabby looking room that in the advert was described as refurbished....refurbished 5 years ago is hardly a selling point to make though. For a...

We managed to get a deal through one of the deal sites for this hotel for a 2 night break and for what we paid it was good value. The hotel building itself is impressive in a big crescent shape and has both indoor and outdoor pools as well as a gym and sauna, the inside could probably benefit from...

This hotel sandwiched amid private properties has a very good dining breakfast room. Views over the Sea that is nearby. The reception desk become a little cramped when busy occasionally. The room we were allocated was clean, located at the rear and spacious. The upstairs door way and corridors seem a little tired in places. The food at breakfast was...

Hotel was average but nothing to write home about... Pretty tatty in places!! However was somewhat surprised at staff and managements attitude to issue we had. We paid full price for a rare night away and at the very least we're looking forward to a good nights sleep and lie in with no kids in tow. Unfortunately we were woken...

An imposing crescent shaped building above Meadfoot beach and with extensive views over Torbay. Part of the building is now apartments, both residential and holiday let. We checked in for our lunch, left our coats with a charming receptionist and were shown to our table for two. Champagne arrived to the table. My wife isn't a great fan of champagne...

Bought a wowcher voucher for a two night stay. Lovely hotel nice room. No view but wasn't expecting one and didn't intend staying in room. Weather was excellent what more could you ask. Breakfast was plentiful many choices. Ate in on our second night food small portions and a bit fancy but having said that both meals were very tasty....

My room had a view of the roof. I asked to upgrade to a sea view room on arrival but was told there were none available. On the first night I had ordered the Plaice; it was not very nice and tasted watery. I did complain to the waiter at the time that I was not very happy with the...
