Stayed here for 1 night with dinner bed and breakfast. Nice room well appointed and a very good dinner with an excellent breakfast. Nice bar and plenty of comfortable seating. Didn't have time to try the other facilities like the pool but would definitely stay here again. Very reasonably priced and lovely staff.

I recently come here for a short weekend break with my parents. Overall I thought the hotel was good. The location is excellent as The Palace is directly opposite Paignton Pier, beach and the amusements. It is also just a ten minute stroll to the bus/train station where you can catch a bus to nearby Brixham or Torquay. If you...

This was the third time we've taken advantage of the excellent value 3 night post New Year's offer. The hotel has much to commend it. The gardens are well maintained and you should try and get a room with a view across the gardens to the woods. Second or third floor rooms have better views in general - but little...

Just on our way back from a wonderful new year break at the Palace Hotel. Every morsel of food we ate was first class, staff at the top of their game - friendly, professional and happy and nothing to much trouble for any of them. Lovely range of entertainment from disco to singers and a quiz. Sunday evenings male vocalist...

Service and quality of food was excellent. En-suite room was adequate, if you dont mind being woken up early every morning, by the noisy air conditioning fan outside on the roof. I couldn't believe that a 4 star hotel hadn't double glazing fitted, my colleagues room next door was the same. The entertainment consisted of solo artistes singing to backing...

I have not got a bad thing to say about this hotel, I arrived with plenty of parking spaces to choose from. Staff were brilliant and really friendly. Hotel is nice and old with lots of character and history, The room I stayed in was very spacious and clean. Although really needs a mattress protector on the mattress instead of...

We stayed here for one night, the hotel was huge and had very large grounds. You could see that in its day this was a hotel to behold with every facility you can think off but time has taken its toll and it is in major need of work. Despite this we had a great time. The afternoon tea was...

As to my previous reviews about this hotel the rooms are just average . Some rooms have been refurbished and some still need updating. The reason we go back to this hotel is the food , the service and the facilities . Would still go back although some of the ladies in the reception need to improve there customer service...
