We have just returned from a 4 day stay with nine members of our family plus two toddlers. As always, never want to leave,in my opinion what makes a hotel shine above all others Is the staff, nothing is too much trouble for them and everyone is so friendly. Can't wait to return once again. There is no better place to stay...

A lovely setting, room 49 was fantastic, beautiful views, clean, huge bed, but bathroom was a let-down with the bath plug hole almost fully blocked with hair (yuk). The bar staff couldnt do enought to help you - indeed Mo spent time searching for a parcel which was apparently delivered to me (it turns out is was sent home, but...

Superb location, friendly staff and only a short walk to the harbour. However, whilst the public rooms retain their grandeur the whole place is very very tired and dated. Although I had a sea view garden room the view was somehow spoiled by all the weeds growing up through the patio and beyond the fence line. The signal on the...

We last stayed here 14 years ago and decided to go again for a nostalgic visit. The hotel itself is a little shabby as before but very clean, the staff are lovely and very patient and helpful. Premier rooms on front with a balcony overlooking Torbay, very spacious and comfortable. Food and restaurant staff, excellent. Very easy to get to...

We stayed here on a two night break. As soon as you walk in it oozes elegance and grandeur, from the huge chandeliers to the beautiful flower arrangements. So if your looking for modern, minamalist decor this is not for you. We had a 4th floor premier room that had a balcony and breathtaking sea views across the bay. The room...

At one time this would of been a lovely place to stay. It's getting old and could do with a large refurbishment. The view from the dining room is lovely if you can get a window table and the window had not clouded up. The room we had was a standard one. Good size and bed OK. Trouble was there...

This is a lovely hotel in a great position in Torquay. It's just a five minute walk to the quay. The views from the lounges and dining room are stunning. We had a bedroom overlooking the front of the hotel and the car park, but it was very quiet at night. One evening there was a male singer crooning some...

Just returned from a three night stay at the Imperial through Secret Escapes. We went for the Deluxe room option and so glad we did. Whilst our room on the 4th floor was a little tired and reminiscent of the 1980's, the space in the room was huge and the view from the balacony was stunning. Sadly our double glazing...

Booked a DBB option just for 1 night, I was gutted I couldn't stay longer... We arrived early and room was obviously not ready but they took my details and said they would let the cleaning team know we had arrived so hopefully could check in a bit early, we were able to park our car and go explore. When...
