My partner and I had a great stay at Abberley Guest House. Jackie, the host, was very friendly and attentive and remembered our preferences for hot drinks and breakfast. She also had a great knowledge of the local area and prewarned us of overpriced cabs. Only thing is - the glasses used at breakfast for the orange and milk were...

Well, what can we say! This was definitely the best place we've stayed at, in all our visits to Babbacombe and the surrounding area. Jackie is the perfect hostess - very welcoming and friendly. The room was very pleasant but above all, the cleanliness of the whole place was amazing! and this is an important factor to us, when choosing...

I have stayed at the Abberley on many occasions. The fact that I keep going back is testament to Jackie. The way the place is run, the friendly welcome. The 'nothing is too much trouble' spirit. You do feel at home. It adds to your holiday. The breakfasts are legendary and set you up for the day. I can't recommend...

We stayed at Abberley when we came to Torquay for the Devon Pottery collectors meeting on 12th July 2015. As we are helping to organize the meeting we have to bring lots of 'stuff' and Jackie is very helpful and keeps our food in the fridge, and finds somewhere to store all our pottery. Jackie is also very helpful giving...

We booked at a very short notice and was lucky that Jackie had one more room left. Always being quite sceptical, we were not quite sure what to expect. This is the 1st B&B that we arrived at, and was greeted at the door in a most friendly and professional way. We felt so welcome before we even saw our...

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Owner very friendly accommodating and helpful without being intrusive. The room was very good too and clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very tasty and cooked to order. Jackie was very helpful in helping us decide on a restaurant for the evening too. Ideal for a relaxing weekend break.
