For us, this was our third time staying at Ascot House. Our stay was excellent once again. Terri and Bernard made us feel very welcome and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. We will certainly be back - probably next year.

Spent 2 nights there last weekend. We had the sea view suite and it lived up to its name. Wonderful breakfast. Really appreciated the luxury of a separate lounge to sit and relax in. Terri and Bernard are great hosts. Lovely, comfortable hotel worthy of top spot in the town.

A perfect overnight stay away from the kiddies. This hotel is both plush, homely and meticulously clean. The warmest of welcomes, the beautifully turned out Sea View Suite (highly recommended) and the wonderful breakfast along with the perfectly balanced franglais ambience and decor made for one super relaxed Mummy and Daddy. Located up out of town but only a few...

On a three week trip in the UK and France, our three-night stay in Torquay at the beautiful and comfy Ascot House Hotel was such a highlight. Elegantly poised on a hill just blocks from the beach, the location is perfect. The Ascot is decorated with such eclectic verve with art and craft pieces, stunning furniture, and original artwork--such attention...

Just had a two night stay at the Ascot House Hotel. It's not our first stay with Terri and Bernard and it certainly won't be the last. Conveniently located. Amazing breakfast. Extremely comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. Friendly, helpful hosts. Definitely deserves it's number one status. Jean and Allan.

You're very welcomen, Gary and Natalie, and thank YOU for taking the time to share your experience. It's such a pleasure to count you amongst the growing number of returning guests. We find the 'home from home' comment one of the most complimentary as it's very much the feeling we wanted to create guests - 'home without the hassles' as...

We have just returned from the Ascot House Hotel after a 4 night stay and as the title of this review suggests, I'm struggling to remember a better hotel stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us hints and tips of things to try/places to visit during our stay. We tried two of the restaurants they recommended and...

Wow - thank you so much Natalie and Neil for your wonderful comments and giving such great detail about what it is you so enjoyed during your stay with us. We're very aware that TripAdvisor is the modern 'word of mouth' and what a great recommendation for us you've made! We try very hard to be clear about what it...

We stayed at the Ascot House Hotel for 3 nights in June 2015 in the Sea View Suite and it was more like staying with family & friends than being in a hotel. The welcome started in the car park, from Terri, one of the owners; it was like arriving home. The accommodation is beautiful.
