Came down to visit family. Stayed three nights. Sue and Stuart were very welcoming and helpful. The b and b was very clean, warm and comfortable with a good breakfast. It is in a very quiet location opposite some playing fields and just a short walk from the sea front with regular buses going to the quayside and town centre...

Only spent two nights here but was a memorable stay. This was our first visit to Torquay in twenty years and was a great choice. Made to feel very welcome by Sue and Stuart and nothing was too much trouble. Bright clean and comfortable bedrooms and plenty of local information to help you make the most of your stay and...

The couple who run this are really nice. There are 5 rooms and you cannot hear the others next to your room. It has a nice sitting area to the front of the house and is five minutes from the beach within walking distance. Tip- abbey torre is 3 minutes walk from the guest house . Room was big and...

Stayed at the Gainsboro for a short break in mid August. A very pleasant B&B very close to the seafront. The owners, Sue and Stuart are very friendly and accommodating. The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts excellent. We intend to come back for another stay. Would certainly recommend it.

As a family of four we stayed at the Gainsboro for 9 nights B&B in the adjoining family room and must say it was a great b&b. We travelled by car but the train station and beach were only 5 min away. Sue was always helpful if you needed to know about anywhere to go and she has a extensive...

Very handy location, close to train station and only 20 minutes walk to the town centre along the prom. A quiet road in a leafy neighbourhood, several parking places at the property at the front of the well-kept garden, but also parking on the road didn't seem to be a problem. The property is well maintained to a high standard,...
