The Babbacombe Hotel enjoys a wonderful location overlooking the bay at Babbacombe. The hotel itself is typical of its type and appeals mainly to the older generation. Our room appeared to be newly refurbished and we had a small balcony with a wonderful view. The room was small but perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. Breakfast was ok especially...

Stayed at this hotel back at the end of august for 1 night as we were going to a wedding in Torquay. Booked via a hotel comparison site and reviews seemed ok compared to some other places around and the price was fair too. Initially great impression as the reception staff that greeted us on arrival was friendly and helpful...

I booked this hotel as I was attending an event at the Babbacombe Theatre and it was only a 5 minute walk from there. I made the booking about a month before my stay via a well known booking site and was surprised to see that the hotel took the full payment for the room immediately. On arrival the welcome...

Bedroom ok, but en-suite had a urine stained toilet seat, mouldy looking lino by toilet area where it leaked in the past and the plug area in bath was chipped and rusty. Reported to staff member who walked off! Needless to say I did not stay! Pictures uploaded.

Came here for a birthday party and have mixed thoughts regarding this hotel. Firstly the staff were very nice and helpful so can not fault them for that. We were offered a room with a sea view and a balcony at an increased price. We thought this was great and accepted, on arrival we were given a ground floor room...

Just got back from a 2 night stay. We were a party of 34 and we booked this hotel on a recommendation from a friend. Had a lovely room with sea views and the view is stunning. On our first night we were really enjoying the acoustic artist but he had to stop at 10pm due to the noise laws....

We recently stayed at the hotel for a few days. We had a double room with a sea view which was just great. The room itself was clean tidy and pleasant. The bathroom was light and the shower was good. We found The hotel staff very welcoming and pleasant all the time. If we needed to ask for anything it...
