Stayed for 1 night while going to the pavilions. Great location for pavilions or the hoe. Booked a twin room , and wasnt disappointed . Had everything we need, with a nice big bathroom with really good shower. Clean and really comfy, friendly owners. Definitely recommend staying here.

We don't generally stay in b and b's, usually go for Premierinn type of hotels, so booking this place for our short break was a bit of a gamble. Well the gamble certainly paid off! Our room was very spacious, as was our on suite shower room. Everything was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was cooked to order, with a...

My teenage son and I spent three nights in Plymouth and were pleasantly surprised how much we fell in love with this beautiful city on the Devon Coast. At the Caraneal Bed and Breakfast, Lisa made us a filling and tasty traditional English breakfast each morning. Our room was comfortable and spacious and stocked with oat ginger cookies and tea....

I was coming to Plymouth to visit my partner for a few days who was working down there. He suggested I look for somewhere on the Hoe so I found the Caraneal after a google search. The location was perfect and was a 5 minute walk (if that!) to the sea front with easy parking on the road outside which...

Clean and comfortable with a friendly welcome, we found this an ideal stopover for a one night stay when catching an early Brittany Ferry. Not a good sleep as rowdy yobs in park kept us awake half the night but not the B&B's fault - maybe a room at the back would be best.

Excellent, large clean room with superb bathroom facilities. Great breakfast with all choices available. Arrived late off ferry and was welcomed with no problem. Finally, excellent value for money, this is ideal for a quick stopover but I'd stay longer if I needed to.

We stayed here for one night while visiting my parents. The landlady was friendly, welcoming, and good-natured. The room was immaculately cleaned, with a fantastic bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, too. I would have liked a bath sheet type towel, rather than smaller ones. But other than that, very good!
