Such a warm welcome by Maria. Carla even emailed me detailed directions to get to the uni prior to our stay along with a map, as discussed when booking the room. I'm so happy, we shall definitely be back.

Very good accommodation, clean, fast wifi, fresh cooked veggie breakfast and 15 minute walk to the Barbican. When ever I go to Plymouth, I will definitely stay at Edgecumbe House as I've stayed in large chain hotels close by and they're nowhere near as good.

Thank you for your lovely review. Guests often rate us higher than larger chain hotels on breakfast quality and choice, fast free wifi, cleanliness and friendly service. I look forward to your next stay.

Lovely room good value but if you want a view this one is not the place! Lovely 4 poster but 3 small flights of stairs 26 steps!! If you not worried ref the view or the uphill walk we felt it more than made up for no view!!

Thank you for leaving a review. Edgcumbe Guest House is an elegant Victorian town house and for clarity our web site details on which floor each room is located. What some rooms lack in views is made up for by our location which is just a few yards from the sea front and one of the most spectacular views in...

Thank you for a lovely visit. Overall it was a lovely stay. One issue we may have raised if we had stayed longer was the amount of light getting into our room from the Exit Signs in the hall. We had a window above our door and could have done with a curtain or blind over it as it was...

Thank you for leaving a review of your recent stay. I'm sorry to hear about the light getting into your room. I've just had the emergency lighting upgraded and a new emergency lighting system installed so this had never been an issue before. Had I known that it was causing a problem at the time of your stay I could...

What a lovely stay we had, the room was well equipped, bed was big and comfortable. The shower was bigger than the norm and so was the bathroom, don't know if this was just our room though. Breakfast was a delight and plenty of it, as well as a good variety. Staff were helpful and a pleasure to talk too....

We were visiting Pymouth for my son's passing out parade from phase one training on the Royal Navy. Carea and her staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. My sister even left with a dozen eggs!!! The house itself is a fantastic Victorian building full of original features which we all loved. Brilliant stay 😃

There were 5 of us staying for 2 nights to attend my nephews passing out parade at HMS Raleigh. My sister travelled from Edinburgh and I from Southend. We both had long journeys and were met by Carla in the early evening. A quietly spoken lady who was lovely. She settled us in and guided us to the nearest eating...

A really nice Guest house that we would definitely return to again. Carla and her staff were very lovely and helpful. The room was large with all the bathroom essentials and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Within easy walking distance of the City centre
