The hotel is in an excellent location to visit all the main attraction of Plymouth It is nice to be able to stay at an independant hotel that can beat the big chains at some things they offer. The Invicta provides a complimentary bottle of water in the room. The rooms have everything you would expect of a big chain,...

Stayed here for one night recently. Excellent, small friendly hotel in a superb location next to the Hoe, Barbican and Plymouth Pavilions. Walking distance to a variety of good restaurants and shops. Great breakfast and all staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. Every area of the hotel from our room and bathroom to corridors, stairs, breakfast room and...

Had Francis Drake been staying at this hotel as well as playing bowls on the Hoe it is very unlikely he would have been able to tear himself away to deal with the Spanish Armada! If you prefer small hotels (an interesting listed building at that) offering a genuine welcome, a superb room, a breakfast to die for and value...

This hotel is close to the Plymouth Pavilions and the Theatre, also The Hoe and The Barbican. The shops are not too far either. Altogether a very well-placed and...

My wife booked this particular Hotel due to its location. Apprehensive at first because we normally stop in the larger hotels and lodges. Upon check in we were offered a complimentary tea or coffee in the lounge a nice touch after a 5 hour journey. We noted there was no lift as stated on the web site we were offered...

“Can't fault the comfortable immaculately and spotlessly clean room or bathroom. The Invicta Hotel bathrobes in the wardrobe were a pleasant surprise and relaxing to wear after bathing. We've stayed in more expensive hotels that do not provide such a service, so indulge! ”
