Return visit. Comfortable rooms but hotel being upgraded so noisy during day and restaurant being moved around. Sure it will be an improvement when finished . Good for access to theatre, City centre and Hoe. Staff friendly and helpful

The room was freshly refurbished so it was lovely to stay in new clean and fresh surroundings. The view from the executive rooms overlooking the sea and Hoe is fantastic. The staff are lovely and very friendly. Such a shame that they have removed the bath from the executive room bathrooms. The bathroom is tiny and really cold. The slate...

I arrived here very late one Friday evening so all I wanted to do was to get to bed. Understandably, the car park was locked by the time I arrived so that had to be opened and I eventually found a space. The staff were helpful and I was given a ground floor room, not far from reception. The room...

The hotel was being refurbished when we visited so there was no restaurant but you could eat in bar area, we did that our last night, what a dissapointment that was i had lasagne which had been microwaved to death and sauce poured ontop of it to look fresh and hubby had a pizza with a dry carboard base, food...

The room was clean but "tired" - the air conditioning grill was noticeably lose, some of the power sockets were...

I stay in this hotel every time I am in Plymouth. Despite the rooms being a little the run down the newly refurbished bar area, the great location and good sleep quality make up for it in my opinion. The good news is that the refurbishment of the rooms has started, the bad news is that it is being rebranded...

You stroll into the lobby and it would easy to think you'd been transported back to the mid 1970's. Elegant? No Stylish ? No Boring ? Yes We hired a meeting room and the provided coffee was cold, watery and tasteless. Numb bum chairs too. Oh dear....

Dear John R, Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your experience. It is unfortunate that you were not able to fully enjoy your stay at the hotel due to the general condition of the hotel, specially the lobby and the quality of service during your meeting. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you....

I stayed for 3 nights from 16 to 18 Jan. Room is big with great view. Very cozy service. Staff were helpful. Location near to a modern theater. 5 - 10 mins walks to main street, fine dinning, shops and bars.

We stayed at this hotel for a visit to the Theatre Royal to see 'Mamma Mia'. Great show and the hotel is very handy for this purpose being only three minutes walk away. They also have a parking facility under the hotel for a very reasonable £3 a night. The hotel was being refurbished and did not show at its...
