I am writing this review from my room at the hotel. Whist renovations are still underway, i am very aware at how courteous the builders are in not starting work until guests have had breakfast. In my opinion the pool does not really work well as half of it is SO shallow that u cant swim at all! However, my...

The hotel itself is skyscraper architecture on the outside and pleasant modern minimalist (ish) on the inside. Lobby spacious and welcoming with bar and lounge area. Very well situated just by Plymouth Hoe with a lovely view of the park area, lighthouse and memorial just outside its front doors. From my room on the 10th floor a fantastic sweeping view...

The hotel is undergoing some refurbishment and this programme had not caught up with my room which was "tired" but clean, tidy and functional. The hotel is located very centrally to the barbican and the city centre. However, the hotels greatest asset were its staff. The best of all were the outstanding staff. Well done to all.hese people were friendly,...

Recently I attended a conference at the hotel and parked my car in the underground car park which has restricted height in place. My car with my roof top box entered clearing the warning chains. When parking my roof book was damaged by a large box on the ceiling which was not highlighted and in the dimply lit car park...

Have stayed a few times during the past few years and had rooms overlooking the back streets of the Hoe area. This time had a room on the 9th floor with wonderful views of Plymouth Hoe. The room was one of the recently refurbished rooms and looked very nice and spacious, however there were a few let downs. The shower...

I didn't stay overnight in the hotel, but on two occasions met with friends for coffee in the downstairs bar/reception area. Everything looks very attractive on the surface, but on each occasion we had to complain about the women's toilet facilities. One of the two toilets seems to be permanently out of order, and the lock on the other one...

The hotel has had a recent refit, it looks good, but in doing so they have taken out the extra double bed in the majority of rooms, not so good for families. Its in a good location in a lovely part of plymouth with a fantastic view of the Hoe from the restaurant. The leisure club- pool was adequate for...

Booked a room with a view last week, came in at a rather steep £191.00 with breakfast. The view was very nice but the room was a big let down. There was a very strong smell of paint. The tv didn't work properly. The shower went from hot to very hot. The shower tray filled quickly and then overflowed. The...

The car park is under the hotel, it is rather narrow with some small spaces. the check-in was very simple. The room was a good size and had a king size bed and very hard sofa bed. The TV could only be watched while on the bed, it had HD and also a large range of Sky channels including sports....
