I guess you get what you pay for and this is it!!!!! Not very clean room, desperately needs updating and decorating - would never stay there again. Have stayed in the Ibis in Sheffield which was NOT as bad as this one

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you were so disappointed with the hotel. It is one of the older Ibis Hotels but I am pleased to let you know that we are indeed due for a refurbishment in the New Year. More

Well... What can I say... There were good points and there are certainly some low points. First the good; The staff on the first night were very helpful, our room had a smell (that I can only describe as sewage) and they did move us to another room when we complained, without any question. The location was good for shopping... More

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you were disappointed with your stay with us. Our breakfast and beds are the same as in all Ibis hotels so I am at a loss as to why you found ours uncomfortable. I will ensure that our housekeeping team are spoken with in regard to the towel. This is by no means a 4/5 star hotel and I'm not suggesting this hotel is advertising that it is, but if it was you would be paying top prices, the rooms are basic and the little touches are the biscuits (that's still nice to see) to have with your tea/coffee and they are replaced everyday but what is great are... Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you are so unhappy. I was on duty myself on the evening you mention and did explain and apologise to you for the fact that the public toilet was out of order due to a leak. I also agreed, as your food was almost ready, to mop the floor to enable... More

Tired and worn hotel. Cheap cheerful and couldn't really expect anything more for the price. Room was clean enough and had a reasonable night sleep. Good car parking and easy to find but quite a way from the town centre.

What can I say. Dowdy, down at heel, hidden. Strange motel lay out, decor from ibis corporate design 1980, all rooms have external doors. It's not unsafe as some have suggested. It's convenient, it accepts dogs, parking is easy. But it's sadly in need of a facelift. On the other hand, friendly welcome, keen price. Downside really is the traffic... More

Stayed here one night whilst travelling on business, and when next in the area I will chose an alternative hotel.
